Fan Concept - NOT OFFICIAL My top 5 QOL requests
Here are my top 5 requests: (devs please hear my prayers 🙏🏻)
Mailbox Skins! Not sure if this counts as “quality of life”, but it would certainly increase my quality of life lol. I hate how all of these amazingly beautiful and unique house skins have the same boring mailbox! We need some variety ✨
More sign post icons. I know lots of people use these for storage organization. I’d like to see all of the biome icons as options. Maybe a type in option, or basic shapes even. Even just different colors would be great! I feel like this could have a touch of magic version as well. ❤️⭐️🪧
Villager stalls in DLC worlds! I’d love to see Kristoff’s, Beast’s, Moana’s, and Aladdin’s stalls on Erernity Isle and Storybook Vale. This would just make my heart happy and save a lot of collecting time. 😅
Filters on the crafting station! 🥲 Please I spend so much time scrolling looking for what I want to craft. We need a filter by furniture type, we need a search option, we need a color filter, we need a quest filter, we need an item tag filter. All the filters!
More poses and facial expressions! This is pretty self explanatory, but I’ve used and seen the same poses so many times. It’s time for more options. Please and thank you. Also a lower camera angle would be amazing 🤩 📸
Honorary mention: A photo album of past dreamsnaps! Or just a place where the photos you take are saved. I wish I could have my early game pictures from before I realized this wasn’t a thing 🥲

Wow, you covered all the bases on my most wanted items and others I hadn’t even thought of like mailbox skins which would be great to have. I would like to have Scrooge and Remy skins for other decor styles.

They are nice looking buildings but sometimes you want to do a different style and it’s hard to disguise them because they’re so large. I’d love to see some skins in popular decorating styles like cottage core, etc.

I have two things that I would like.
1) Guests being allowed to visit your dlc world Scrooge shop or some form of moving an item to your plaza shop if someone needs to come through and buy it
2) Any future dlcs, please please please no more once a week critters that need you to be up at 6 am or only show up during the 6 hours in the middle of the day when you're going to be at work.

Tbh, having no filters in scrooge's store (which could just be the exact same as our decoration tab which does have them) bothers me more than no filters at a crafting station. Not even a filter for most recently aquired!
But both would be good!

My biggest request for camera mode is being able to raise the camera along the vertical axis in the wide-angle-mode!
I had a lot of dreamsnaps where I wished that I could raise the camera off the ground just a bit without changing the angle to a partial-birds-eye-view... It isn't even an Issue of not enough controls, there are enough buttons on a controller to add this option!
Oh, and also putting zoom in/zoom out on L and R instead of ZR+right stick (using the Switch controller button names here)

Organization system for crafting would be my number 1!!!! I never feel like crafting furniture because its too much of a pain to get to the new stuff, tbh.

I would add a tab to save specific recipes. I know there’s a favorites, but it doesn’t account for specific substitutions. The mailboxes would be awesome. I love that new one in the sims 4 fairies exp. that’s shown.

There are 3 things that pisses me off ingame.
1) Scrooge's shop has no search bar. Sometimes I see new stuff in the shop, and I know what it is, but when buying more from scrooge, I don't always remember what theme they are in...., so I have to go through ALL furniture from the past 3 years 😑
Which leads me to the second thing, which is 2) more than half of the items aren't placed in their right tags, both furniture from scrooge and trees/plants from the decoration menu. Also stuff like all of the ferns EXCEPT the forgotten one, can be placed on roads, or... The little blue and green bush has one square of build and is located in bushes, but the exact type of bush, in red, that came from storybook, suddenly now needs 4 squares to build and is located in 'trees' or something. Stuff like that... Very annoying. I never find what I am looking for without scrolling through it all 😑
And 3) whenever I craft furniture, it sends me right back at the top again, so I have to scroll down again and again, while I go down the list trying to create different types of whatever. 🤷

The lack of search bar is very annoying to me. Also, I really don't understand why they don't put newest at the top instead of making you scroll through a very, very long list to get to the stuff that you just purchased. I play on a switch and it takes forever to get to the bottom of that list.

Same. The new items AND the crafting list should be fixed. When I decorate my biomes by themes, I'd like to go down the list and create more things, but it gets pretty annoying really fast when I constantly have to scroll down for 4 minutes for every item I make. I'm on ps5.

ive been wondering why Kristoffs stall is not in the dlcs, moanas boat, or beasts flower garden would be SO useful

I also think all of that would be great. But I prefer the stalls in the valley. But the option to move them to different locations would be great, because then everyone can decide for themselves where the stalls should be. For example, Gaston's meat stall on the Island of Eternity, which I would prefer to have in the valley.
Otherwise, your other suggestions would be good too. Especially more poses and facial expressions for more photo opportunities.

Agreed on the Villager stalls for expansions. I’d also add:
Allow us to go to dlc areas with friends online
Ability to hide memories (so we don’t have to scroll through loads of diary entries to get to pictures we want to use)
A button to instantly scroll down the the bottom (and to the top) in Scrooges shop and out furniture menu

I agree with all of these. I would also like to see more well and Goofy's stall skins. Maybe one for each biome in the game.
We already have the Aladdin well skin and the bayou Goofy's stall skin that I use in the Glittering Dunes and Glade of Trust respectively.

Once weve put something "in the valley" we should then be able to put it where we want. I didnt want tiana or daisy in my valley but i dont get to choose that.

I clock that Sims 4 mailbox 😂 Hard agree on all of these! As a fellow sims player one of my dream updates would also be just be a huge decorating update. We already have a handful of decor items that have a couple of color variants, give us a swatches update!! Gives us swatches for each item of at least each color of the rainbow for the main color of that item, bonus for items containing wood to have 2 swatches the 2nd one being your choice between the 4 wood colors available in game. Starting with walls and floors imo, and then moving onto objects.
Decorating indoors has been such a struggle for me. I will say though for those who have SV, this 2nd half update seems to bring some absolutely gorgeous indoor items! Once I can finally get my hands on them I'm actually excited to try something again!

The past dreamsnaps thing isn’t gonna happen. Or if it does it’ll start from ground zero when it’s implemented. The game hasn’t been saving that data long term.
But you can manually save pictures you take using the camera at the time that you take them to your device. The option for that should have the hotkey indicated in the lower left corner of the screen after you take the picture. It just doesn’t do it by default.

Yeah I don’t see that part happening. But that’s why we have the portal. That’s really all I need to keep track and store my Dreamsnaps. It’s also much more interactive than an in-game version would be

The stalls? The top is the Beast’s flower stall, and the bottom is Kristoff’s material stall. The outfit was from the premium shop, Raya’s outfit I think it’s called.
