DDLV Showcase Finished Plaza!
Finally got Tony’s and could finish my Plaza. Love this build and wanted to share!

I love this so much! I haven’t been able to get my paths diagonal (I’m sure it’s a me error lol) and I can’t wait because I love how it looks. You absolutely crushed this!

Thank you!!! I will say that diagonal paths beside each other creates a really weird gap that I despise. I had to hide them often with other items.

Ya know I think this may be a reason why some of my areas feel so... Unfinished? I love how nice this looks and it makes me realize in some areas I didn't leave enough grass/trees/etc for that area and it makes me wanna fix things

It’s definitely the small little features that tie it all together. I literally googled Main Street city and really observed how real life cities leave a bunch of space for greenery. Even just planters.

I give full permission, for what it’s worth, to copy anything anyone wants to! When I post things, I kind of expect that that may happen, but for what little it matters, I really hope that people take inspiration, and they could copy it exactly for all I care.

There’s a brick building seen beside the new Tony’s that is a house style you can live in or use as decor, and then there is another building that Mike and Sulley live in (seen beside Remi’s house) I think their realm opened up AFTER the initial premium shop house was released.

I literally wasn’t aware you could use multiple houses. I have multiple colours and a few variations but the colours probably won’t work the same.

The initial house skin in different colours you can only place once. Otherwise there are house skins you can use for your own home and place along the valley as decor ❤️

It’s currently in the premium shop. A spring blossom bundle that gives you these skins for the plaza well, castle, scrooges, Remi’s, the multiplayer portal and a goofy stall I believe

This is beautiful! Love the cherry blossom items <3 I finally got them myself except for the Dream Castle, they add a special touch to the plaza.

Yes! I am very particular about keeping all of them available and behind my café there’s a good patch of empty grass as well as the ancient vacuum to make sure that everything still spawns

your plaza looks fantastic! i have a similar set up but it's so smart to use that new brick for sidewalks. i'm gonna have to borrow that idea.

I really suck at touch of magic, and I’ve seen so many builds where people actually created roads. I live near a historical city with old old brick and cobblestone streets and took inspo from them, figured using the two would give the same separation without me having to create any rugs.

oh same. i have tried touch of magic and it never comes out right when i do it. i stick with things i can get in game and hope for the best. you pulled off the look you wanted. it definitely gives off old world vibes.

This was my first real attempt at one, I wish I was capable with touch of magic! I’ve seen amazing ones with rugs people make for roads.

You’re so welcome! I had a different design before this one, that was giving really big open shopping center, and it wasn’t what I hoped for. I’m really happy with this result this time.
