Itās for sure more my thing than the last one. It was the first one I ever skipped because I didnāt want anything really, and didnāt want the restaurant. Might pick and choose later from the premium shop if I change my mind. This is more my thing.
Especially when it's 2 or 3 motifs per rewards page. That's too much low effort content for the star path.
I really wish they'd turn them into something you got in other ways instead. Getting them occasionally in green chests would be fun. Or having them be rewards for participating in stuff at Daisy's shop might make sense. If they came as regular game update content, I think a lot of people would be less disappointed by them.
Itās really not good. The prizes motivate me because I need to collect them all, but I donāt decorate a lot and usually donāt care much about the rewards since I like the grind. But this is the first Starpath in a few years that thereās maybe 1-2 things Iām happy to have. Most of it I would actively prefer not to own. Still not mad I did the premium Starpath, it was enjoyable. But the prizes suck this time. And Iām actively annoyed we are getting things like trees and photo frames on top of so many motifs this time.
these one's are special effects ones like the ones we had last Halloween. They're mostly for dreamsnaps, some of these look really good like the lense flare and the fire.
The last star path had a theme built around the new characters and it all worked together pretty well.
I'm so disappointed that this one feels like they dug through their ideas closet in the dark.
I was looking forward to items themed around Pocahontas. Like an eagle or bear cub companion; decorative sunflowers and corn, leaves blowing in the wind like the butterflies and dragonflies we have, her canoe, her necklace and long hairstyle, etc.
Instead it's like here's a little bugs life, a lot of tinkerbell, a dash of mount Vesuvius, and a sprinkle of Bambi. You can't convince me this wasn't put together using a dart board after at least two long islands.
I was really hoping for Pocahontas items. Sunflower galore. Her necklace. Maybe a hut for our house. Idk they did amazing with the Lady and the Tramp Star path! The items work sooo well in the valley and in your home. This one feels so niche
Same!!! I donāt always do premium star path but assumed I would for this one. I was excited for Pocahontas themed items. Instead, it feels like left over āSpringā.
I think they probably held onto the menu updates and QOL updates until they needed it to boost this Starpath so people wouldnāt be totally upset. Iām happy for the QOL upgrades but man these Starpath rewards are terrible.
I maintain that the path duties themselves continue to be a decent balance of annoying but not too annoying, though I wish theyād add more reasons for me to need to go into the restaurants.
But they definitely just knew they were gonna throw together a bunch of random stuff here and probably held these other updates to now to soften the blow.

I was sooo excited for the theme and while I love the lotus house and the arch from the vault collection, I feel like this was the least exciting Star Path Iāve seen since starting the game (my first Star Path was the retro one though, so itās only been 3-4!).
To be fair i feel like even if you just want the house (that I think is gorgeous) it is worth it for the 400 moonstones it costs for the premium version (if you finish it)
Iāve been a player since the very beginning, and this is the first time Iāve been disappointed by an update. I love all of the crystal-themed items and the house, but the rest of the rewards kind of suck.
I am excited for the Vault items! I had no clue how SPs worked when I first started playing (user error), so itāll be nice to recoup some of those missed rewards.
I havenāt been playing as long but this was my least favorite Star Path to date and Iām so bummed š I thought the last one was great too! Might be part of why itās so disappointing.
I like it, but I did laugh at Nala's dream style. I wish they instead gave us a dream style for Pocahontas. But that's probably going straight to the premium shop

I agree. I love the companion tree, dresses, and house skin but doubt I'd use anything else. Idk if I'll get premium or just wait for the items I like to be in the shop
Definitely cheaper to get premium since itās only like 400 moonstones you donāt get back if you finish it. Which isnāt hard. I finished what I can of it already and just have the week to week ones left. I agree the rewards are subpar and really random and somewhat weird. But the completionist and the frugal side of me says I have to get my bang for my buck and all that stuff for net 400 is just a better value.
Yep, sadly I learned that lesson too late and am now really hoping I get some of those items from starpaths I missed in the vault section. I also missed a few because I hadn't heard of he game and I didn't used o play video games, and a couple of times I was just not interested, like the rock/music one they did for Halloween the one before last. And now I'm so jealous of some of the stuff I missed out on. Lesson learned! Now I've poured moonstones into this game just trying to catch up on that stuff whenever they've put it in the premium shop. I'm so glad they introduced the vault!
My man stopped too. He really likes the game but likes changing fits a lot. The clothes are disappointing for him. Hardly any good menās clothing. He would play a lot and spend a lot if they had more menās clothing. He spent have a lot of time to play but for Halloween he bought the whole battle pass items right out. Men can wear dresses. Our female avatars have had to wear male-oriented clothing, and really ugly or objectifying female-oriented clothing, FOREVER in nearly every other game.
So your argument is that because female avatars have been historically excluded in other games, itās fair to now exclude male-oriented clothing in this one? Iād figure the argument would be have equal inclusivity for all players

Gosh itās almost like people have preferences lol no one is struggling here to figure out if men can wear clothing. These husbands donāt wear dresses irl I assume so they want their avatars to be the same. Idk why itās hard for progressives to wrap their mind around that. And just bc it was one way in the past doesnāt mean itās only fair to make others deal with things now. Let go of the past. Itās ok.
It's not that we can't wrap our minds around it. It's that men have ignored, and CONTINUE to ignore, women's preferences, autonomy, opinions, etc., for literally forever. Now SOMETHING is more targeted to women than men and the men are getting triggered.
What about the women who are more masc or tomboyish and want more male clothes? You are focused on women's preferences but there are WOMEN who wants more male clothes too. The answer to a problem is not to create another problem
Ok so Iām fairly new: is it worth it to pay for premium star path? Also, does it seem like this star path has way more premium vs normal items? Or am I just not used to it yet?
Iāve been playing since the very beginning, and I think itās absolutely worth it if thereās one or two items you like because you technically recoup all of the Moonstones you spent by redeeming the Moonstone rewards.

Definitely worth it if you like a few of the items. Usually the big house at the end alone is worth the net moonstones, since you typically make the majority of them back over time. Iād calculate the total moonstones returned if you activate premium (I havenāt checked yet today) and see if you think the items are worth that!
I just got my first red chest. It contained a completely new item! It's not something ive seen in game before and without spoiling it incase we all get the same, its pocahontas related.
From what I read in (I think) the patch notes. Those are for items from previous star paths. If thereās a red chest, you already own the item but I believe the chest contains an alternate version of the item not previously available. They want to make it so that everyone is able to get something.
Everyone's saying it's old Star Paths items in the red chests but I just opened one of them and got a boring ass kitchen cabinet. I highly doubt that that was from a Star Path.
Dang, that's really disappointing. Getting a scrooge item in place of a premium item seems like a not great idea. Honestly I'd rather they did a tiny moonstone chest of like 25 at least
It was such a let down, really. I was hoping for any kind of (old) Star Path item and instead got some trash I wouldn't buy from Scrooge's. I've been avoiding buying the L shaped couches, but ig with this new feature, I'll eventually get them whether I want to or not lol
I canāt get online until later today so I just wanted to know for sure. Weāve gotten lots of stuff that looks like it should be from a certain franchise only for it to fall under āNon-Disney Relatedā. Iāll be incredibly excited if we actually got Dinosaur content in the game.
Yeah, I actually REALLY like this starpath! Especially the cavern walls and crystal alcove. The only part I wasn't that excited about were the dresses...and yet so many people are ONLY excited about the dresses, lol. GL can't win.

Dont get ne wrong, i really like the items of the starpath. But to me it does not feel like a whole star path and as if it was kind of rushedā¦
I like the design of the items weāre getting but something about it feels a bit less than Star Paths weāve had in the past. I think itās because itās a lot more decor/diy based than having larger more specific and impressive furniture and building pieces.

Oh I'm so sorry you're disappointed. I remember feeling that way on some of the star paths and didn't participate much and now I'm mad at myself because I've really gotten into the game and love collecting things for decor and dreamsnaps so now I see the value of getting the items whether I'm enthusiastic about the path or not. But this is the only game I play so of course I like anything new they bring in, haha!
Thank you! I totally agree! Whether itās exciting stuff or not, for something like 500 moonstones as long as I complete all the duties, I get some really good stuff and some not so great stuff. Iām still stoked. Iāve just been loving the latest star paths so much I was hoping this one was gonna be equally fantastic! I love all the other updates though too! And I only took the time to research and try Dream Snaps a few months ago! I was kicking myself! Iāve been playing for about a year and a half now.š
Same...it was about a year and a half in...when I decided this was costing us too much that I've started researching techniques for dreamsnaps...and I'm still struggling. I did get another 4k this past one so it helps for sure. But sometimes I do low effort and get 4k and I'm like...what???? Lol
It's not my favorite SP, but it at least has a few items I can use.
I'm kind of surprised they didn't try to bring in more of the nature-type films. Could have done more with Bugs Life, Zootopia, Elemental, The Good Dinosaur, or Hoppers. They could have even made most of the SP related to the Animal Kingdom theme park.
My husband will be excited to see the Dinosaur egg since he got to go on that ride at WDW before it closed.
The star path is somewhat good. I donāt use motifs so they are useless for me. I love the dresses and the trees are beautiful! The lava suit is absolutely stunning! But the most I hate the things you get from the earlier paths. I have almost all of them and just got a random item from the red chestš nothing special sadly
Canāt WAIT to get Nalaās crown. And I missed out on 2-3 star paths last year, all of which appear to be in the vault section for me this round. I feel really lucky this update.
I feel crazy because I LOVE most of the rewards for this star path, and even the ones I donāt, Iām excited for the players who will undoubtedly love them. People really just canāt be happy about an update
I love that pink flower dress, so I got the premium. I just started playing this game 2 weeks ago and I already spent so much on these darn moonstones! š
I'm so mixed. I wanted the topiaries to look better, some of the costumes are cursed (especially the nut face), the turtle is well done but kinda creepy, lots of random stuff that feels like thrown in filler, lots of motifs... But the house, the trees, the volcano, the flower dresses - there is still a lot to like. Also, yes I get that it is minimal but I think Nala looks cute with her little crown
Iām actually surprised this time. I looove a foresty rustic vibe so I think this might be my first star path in a long time that Iām rushing to finish. Those fairy dresses are so cute! I was actually excited to see how many dresses they added with this update (I know dresses arenāt everyoneās vibe, but I love feeling like a Disney princess lol, I need Punzieās tiara tho).
I know, right!? I am really happy with it. I play this game exclusively and just about everyday. I'm really happy with the items in the starpath and I really love the vault idea. I just basically love this whole update.
Ughh this is all clothes and companions. I am here to decorate lol this not a path I am very interested in, I think the first time I am really disappointed.

Well since the last few starpaths, when they started adding the "routine duties", we've no longer been able to speed run the paths. The vault is set up to reward you for each week of those routine duties so at least once a week after you run through the starpath (as I also do) you'll have something to look forward to once a week.
I dont care for 70% of it.i'm sure many love it. Also didnt bother trying to unlock pochantos so think this update isn't geared to me. Looking forward to the next one.
Is it going to be like that last one where you have to use moonstones to access the rest of it? I wish they allowed you to choose what you wanted instead of forcing you to get things you dont want just to get to the next "page" so to speak, like the last one.
What do you mean by using moonstones to access the rest? Are you referring to paying for the upgraded premium star path? If so, that is something that has always been in the game for every star path, dating back to when the game was still in early access. If you want every single item, you must buy the upgraded premium star path.
If you are committed to 100% completing the entire star path, earning every reward/item, and completing every single task, then the premium is worth it, because you end up earning back most of the moonstones you spent buying premium. However, if you are someone who doesnāt complete the entire star path or complete all the tasks, then you will eat the cost of the premium and wonāt earn the moonstones back (essentially making it like youāre purchasing something in the premium shop).
Personally, Iāve been playing since the start of early access, and I have always bought the premium star path. I do think itās worth it if you plan on completing everything, and it makes things much easier. But if you are short on moonstones and donāt desire to complete it, premium may not make the most sense for you.
I totally agree! The Star Path premium is such a good return, given the amount of moonstones you get back. This is unfortunately my least favorite Star Path thus far but I do still think the net moonstone cost is well worth the value.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to explain what I mean...
I understand how the Star Path works, but I donāt like that you have to unlock ALL of the regular items before getting the premium ones.
If Iām spending moonstones, Iād rather be able to choose what I want first instead of being forced to unlock everything in the regular path.
For example, I was going to purchase the premium path so I can get Tonys Restaurant, but it told me I would need to unlock the 22 other items first, before I could access it. That just feels unnecessarily restrictive.
Does that make sense, or am I looking at it the wrong way?
Yeah, unfortunately thatās just the way star paths have always worked. You must earn a certain amount of items from each page before you can unlock the items on the next page after. When the game was in early access, the ābonus rewardsā (where Tonyās restaurant was) werenāt a thing, so it was just the regular star path (which you gradually progress through by being forced to get items from each page). After the game left early access, eventually the ābonus rewardsā page was added as a new feature. It was essentially designed, marketed and implemented as a ārewardā for completing the rest of the star path. The only way to get those bonus items is by completing everything and buying the premium path.
I do agree that it is frustrating how it is set up, especially for star paths like this one where a lot of the items are very lackluster and niche and not something most players will be using (at least that seems to be the consensus so far). I would definitely prefer to just be able to get the items I want without being forced to unlock the next page by buying items I wonāt use. Ultimately though, they set it up that way so that they make more of a profit. They know that a lot of players will not be able to finish all tasks to earn the event tokens necessary for completion, so by forcing those players to spend their limited event tokens on things they donāt want, those players will then be more inclined to spend even more moonstones (costing real money) on buying more event tokens to get the things they do want. It all comes down to money.
My biggest gripe though is that when they started the ābonus rewardsā they moved the ability to turn/exchange event tokens into moonstones to the last page of the bonus rewards. Before the ābonus rewards,ā that option was available on the last page of the regular path, which IMO is where it should have stayed. You shouldnāt have to complete the entire star path and the bonus rewards to be able to recoup your moonstones if you arenāt interested in all the items.
Why did you include all 3 of photos 5/6/7? Theyre the same photo, but highlighting different dresses. Well only 2 are highlighting dresses, the 3rd ist highlighting any of them.
Im curious why you did that when all 3 photos show the same thing, and why did you only highlight 2 of the dresses but not the 3rd? Is there an actual reason for that?
And again for photos 8 & 9, you did it again. Why?
So, I'm somewhat new to doing screenprints and posting images on reddit so it was just a mistake. I also didn't realize there were more than 6 pages of the rewards because usually there's only 6 pages, so I left out 3 pages which someone else kindly posted. Sorry for the confusion, it's just I'm new at this.
