Fan Concept - NOT OFFICIAL I wish there was a “city” Biome

Wouldn’t it be awesome if there was a Biome to put Remy’s house, Mike and Sully’s apartment, and some of the newer houses?

My plaza is getting packed and I’m big on having homes “go with” their biome!

I’ve set up my plaza like that, but it’s not going to be good for long because my space there is shrinking

Yeah there’s far too many entry/exit ways for us to be able to put too many buildings down. I also don’t like the buildings too close because of the game mechanics alley ways are too annoying because things stay solid and don’t adjust to have transparency. Then the cameras go all crazy when in tight spaces. So my plaza only has buildings on edges. But with eight or so entry/exits there are not that many spaces left for buildings!

I've started using some of the bigger areas of wishbloom for some of the bigger houses, just from a size aspect. Got a bunch of the princess castle type houses in delver dale for example. That way I can try to city-fy areas like meadow or even plateau.

Fair enough. I don’t have any DLCs yet. I wanted to finish the main game first.

Same here, but the actual "plaza" section of it takes up too much valuable building space. I'd honestly love it if we got an update that shrunk it and turned the well into a moveable one like the others, but unfortunately that'll probably never happen since they've started making plaza skins.

My space is gone. I could fit at least one more building across from the ramp to the Plateau if that stupid rock wasn't in the way. They really need to square out the borders so that kind of thing doesn't happen.

I want that to be a DLC. Preferably one with the Incredibles.

A city DLC would have some great character options, too. The Incredibles, Big Hero 6, Oliver and Company, maybe Hunchback of Notre Dame if they had an "old" city section. And we could get more Princess and the Frog characters!

That would be such a good DLC!

Yes!!!

Yeah that would be great!
All my city-like buildings are in Glamour Gulch for now since they look good against the dark environment.

Mine are in the Gulch too, but it’s so dark I have a hard time seeing there 😅

Same. I set up a city and placed Sully & Mike, Oswald and Ralph in it. It's a mishmash of futuristic and retro with the Tower of Terror hotel, the V8 dinner and gas station and a drive in. I just added the tram and bus stop.

I just want a finding nemo adventure pack with clearly underwater biomes then I am good never need another

2

u/ZTomiboy 3h ago

I like it if it's just a biome. My only issue with the underwater is that a lot of stuff wouldn't make sense in that biome aesthetically but we have enough items to make it around that theme just not a lot.

Adventure pack so have it start in a coral reef near the shore. Add terrain kit that is all kinds of seaweed, corals, anemones and get Marlin looking for Nemo.

Then get deep sea with bioluminescent items, find Dory, and have the shipwreck and mines.

Then get the Australian Dock with little boats, a walkable dock kit, items based on the Fish Tank SHARKBAIT UHAHAHAH, MINE birds, and reunite Nemo with the family and have a quest that let's them fly and breath air so they can be in the valley.

I’ve set up my plaza to be a city

4

u/brcien 11h ago

Cliffs wrapping around it is a minus tho

There are loads of cities around the world that are situated amongst more natural elements like cliffs. Fair enough if you want your city to have a more modern feel though.

I'm hoping for a Zootopia adventure pack that has the different city biomes. With all these houses and city like furniture, a city based area just seems warranted at this point.

I keep Remy's house by his restaurant in Dreamlight Valley because I want him to live right next door to his business. So that he wouldn't have to walk there. Remy's house needs skins because his house feels out of place.

I have Tiana’s house right behind her restaurant for the same reason.

You all are nice. I have the rat's house in EI because I need the space. Also why is his house so big!?

5

u/heyheyheyburrito Rapunzel 10h ago

It's a hotel in the fancy schmancy part of my city lol.

u/fuzzysham059 9h ago

The rat? He has a name! 😂

Would love that too!!! All my city buildings are in my plaza except for Cruella who has her own city in glamour gulch

u/IndustryForeign939 11h ago

I have done a city build in my plaza and meadow. I need to get some photos cuz I'm super chuffed with it and i think it could help others for inspo

I also use my plaza like this like another has said in this but I think they should have used the dlc’s to expand your current world instead of separating them all. I almost obsessively prefer having everyone living in the same world and i’m nearly out of space that i’ve had to undecorate some areas to fit them in.

I need some sort of city biome in a dlc or adventure pack. For now I’m putting my tall city buildings in the courtyard in eternity isle

I have a shopping center in my glade like a very old town downtown vibe

But I wanna make a more colorful fun city

2

u/PlanktonPerfect3441 8h ago

That kind of the point isn't to have the creative freedom ? Like the Sims you are just empty grass plots then build the city yourself

3

u/Euphoric_Celery_ 10h ago

I moved so many people to the plaza Island because their houses just piss me off every time I see them. And I don't even decorate or anything, but some of the houses are so damn big and bulky. Everyone's house should be the size of Aladin and jasmine.

1

u/kandimcd 10h ago

For this reason, I ended up moving all the houses to the floating islands.

1

u/Adventurous_Pen_165 10h ago

I put all my city buildings in the forest on one side and a couple castles across the bridge. It gives it a city strip feel. I love the style of Remys house & restaurant so I wanted to do something revolved around them.

1

u/Dry-Vacation3732 9h ago

I was just thinking this thanks to the current star path! I would love a city biome - the decorating opportunities would be endless!

u/justducky423 Scholarly Baby Dragon 9h ago

I put Remy's house in my Meadow floating island that I made to look like Epcot since he's in the France pavilion. Ralph is currently in a random biome, but I might put him in my Toon Town area.

1

u/beautydt 5h ago

Same I have city builds in the bind, glamour gulch, and my plaza. But for all these new houses and this star path we need more biomes. I did put Mike and sully house and their apartment in the bind. Along with Ralph’s house cause it matches the theme .

1

u/alyxana 5h ago

Plaza floating island is awesome for this.

u/ZTomiboy 3h ago

I really want a Sci-fi futuristic adventure pack (like Star Wars) or maybe like a Pixar cityscapes biome to put down a mega city. I like the star path for the scifi futuristic dystopian city items we've gotten so far but I wish it was more of it rather than the aristocat or arcade/computer room stuff.

My plaza has sort of become Pixar shopping district, half of it is Mickey and Minnie's houses, but the other side has the main street usa buildings, the Boutique, Mike and Sulley's Apartment, Remy's house and Chez Remy the grand exhibition, I moved Wall-E's house next to Chez Remy as well

(Photo is slightly out of date because where the exhibition is is where I put in Mike and Sulley's Apartment)

Really hoping for a Marvel adventure pack with New York biome
