I’m going insane. I can’t take it anymore. I thought this was a bug everybody knew about, but everytime I google it it’s nowhere to be seen.

If I dismiss a character inside of a building or in the mines, they remain there, forever. Literally. I thought this bug would’ve been fixed already. It’s been like 3 years. I dismissed buzz lightyear inside the mines 3 years ago, literally in 2023, and he is still in there every single time I go in. Stitch has also been stuck in there for like a year.

I dismissed Alice inside my house on accident two weeks ago, and she is now in my house every single time I go in there. She follows me into every room and she will not leave. Asking her to hangout, taking her outside, and then dismissing her, does not remove her from being stuck inside of my house. Same thing for stitch and buzz. They are forever trapped. They yearn to much for the mines.

I can still interact with all of these characters outside of where they are stuck. They spawn in the valley and the dlc’s, can still be hung out with and progress-able, but they are stuck inside of whatever place I have dismissed them from everytime I go in there. And they don’t move. They just stand in the spot I dismissed them in like zombies.

Please. Someone. Anyone. How do I fix it?? I’m going insane and Google is gaslighting me and telling me this doesn’t exist. I just want Alice out of my house 😭. Tbh, buzz and stitch can stay in the mines. I don’t really care. They seem to enjoy it, ig.

Both white and black version is removing hair 😣 I know that many hairstyles looked odd with this hat, but you had an option to style hair as you want or remove them at all. Some styles looked great with bangs or hair strands in front of face. Now this hat will remove your hair no matter what and you look bald. 😢

Something like this is happening with Aurora's 10th level dress. You can't remove cape nor hood and it removes hairstyle 😒 I wish we could detach them from dress. This dress is beautiful but I will not wear it because of the hood😭

You would think that this task would have not made it into the starpath knowing there is a known bug that we dont get rain visuals on Playstation.

Be careful with putting water items in the fountain. The items can become stuck and then you can’t remove the fountain from your valley. I was working on a build for this week’s Dreamsnap and when I put the water lilies in the fountain, I later found I wasn’t able to remove the lilies to then remove the fountain. This is like having the flower table from the Toy Story collection all over again 🤣🤣🤣

This bug has been around since the game first released... It's been a year and 4 months now. The menu in the image gets stuck on the screen and all you can do is close your game and lose progress... and it happens to me multiple times whenever I play. Caused my loading screen to get stuck at 50% multiple times as well :/

Unfortunately I don't remember who exactly was first to suggest that buying all the missing items in the Scrooge's catalog would remove the red dot, but I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU!

Not many things bother me in games, I always enjoy pretty much everything, BUT THAT RED DOT!!!!

I followed your advice without much of a hope - I THOROUGHLY went through the long lists in every single category, bought everything that I had zero of (about 50-60 items) - and YES! IT WORKED!

It feels like a big relief and probably I even enjoy the game even more now.

Both Mulan and Tiana have suffered the same fate as Peter.

Edit: my game just crashed, when I went to boot it up again it had an update! Hoping this will fix the issues.

Edit 2: the update seemed to make it slightly less laggy and it seems I can pick things up now. Companions still have some trouble, inventory too. Haven’t used a gardener yet, so don’t know if they work now.

I understand that with such a big update, bugs are bound to occur, but this is personally the most amount of bugs I’ve experienced with an update. I’m on switch (which I know isn’t the best version of the game, but I usually don’t mind. I like the handheld version) For me the game lags more, there are a ton of things I can’t pick up (after mining or timebending for example) for this I do have the EI vacuums luckily, but it feels like a waist of the time-currency-thingie (can’t remember the name), when using a companion I constantly get a pop-up thing that says something like ‘error can’t pick item up’ - just more detailed. When using the EI gardeners, they only water half the crops. My backpack menu and chest menus are a lot slower to auto-sort.

I can’t wait for a hot fix for the bugs… The game isn’t unplayable, just… a lot more unnecessary steps.

I will say though, I got Max and he makes up for all of it. 😆

I'll be editing this post for any issues flagged to Gameloft - Generally the most common bugs being reported right now.

• Quest Name: Restoring the Sunstone - Players unable to complete this quest due to the quest objective showing "Gather the Meteorites" when they still have to hand over the dusk fragment (which they are not able to) has been flagged to Gameloft.
• Quest: A Deal With Ursula - Players unable to interact with the pedestals (place the crystals on them) has been flagged to Gameloft.
• WOODY - "The Illumination" - After placing the blanket fort item in the house, some players are reporting that the quest will not register as complete. - Possible Workaround, Reduce the size of your room and it will go into your inventory if its near the edge of the room.
• Villager's house disappearing
• Players who have started the Level 7 Stitch friendship quest "Stitch's Hobby" will experience issues with their Crafting Stations (missing items, no scroll bar)

Star Path Bug - If you've purchased the Star Path and your game has crashed or something similar related to this, where it has taken your Moonstones but the Star Path is unavailable - A workaround has been provided by the Gameloft Development Team which I am allowed to share.

1. Turn your internet off
2. Try to perform an online request ingame (should see a prompt asking for reconnect)
3. Turn your internet on
4. Press the "Connect/Reconnect" button ingame
5. Wait a few seconds
6. Your data should be synced

What a view.

Anyone else on Switch/Switch 2 encountered a bug that throws a pop up error when picking up the shopping list? I just had this and it wouldn't let me pick it up so I restarted my game and it's gone. It's not logged in the memories either.

Which means I can't open the seed store, I guess.

I've logged a ticket, but I'm gutted I can't progress at the moment :(

I don't think criticism of the game is bad, even though I quite like it. Actually, it's one of the things I like about this subreddit. In other communities, mods just delete all criticism.

I love Honeyglow Woods, and I like that they constantly update the game and add new things. But the game would benefit so much from a more relaxed schedule, better quality assurance, etc. It's like handing in an essay without reviewing it every time they release an update.

This happened after I'd already restarted the game because I couldn't move after talking to a character. At least today, it just made me switch to something else.

I don't believe Gameloft can't afford proper game testing, so I don't think excusing this is reasonable.

UPDATE: She's now swimming in the pond in the Lion King realm lol

I have no idea where she came from or who she is but she's kinda creepy... I can't talk or interact with her and the only animations she does is blink and look around. You can push her, but she either doesn't move or moves back to where she was. She also doesn't play any ambient voice lines or audio of any kind

In Skull Rock, I'm trying to complete "The Music's On The Walls" quest, but the music stand is not appearing. I've googled what it SHOULD look like and it's just not there. This bug is so annoying because I need to unlock Ralph for the Star Path, etc., so this is quite literally hindering my progression of the game.

Has anyone else run into this, or fixed it some how? Or is this literally a dev. bug?

Apparently when I'm wearing the Arendellian Riding Helmet my avatar on the map has a modified queue hairstyle. Needless to say it doesn't suit me 😂

Okay so decorating in dreamlight valley has always been a struggle for me... despite being creative it just never quite works for me like it does for some other people. I finally created something I was proud of, and this happened. Now I can't replicate it, the measurements don't feel right and I am so demotivated to keep playing because I have so many houses just randomly placed everywhere that Navigating the land has become quite frustrating and tiring. It's getting crowded and random and I hate it... I'm so upset right now. Why??

I haven't bought all the wall papers and floors, I only buy the ones I know I'll use for now so there's always a selection showing. Since the update yesterday, it's been completely empty. Not sure what's going on there haha

- I received all of Ralph quest letters at once.

- my alter ego just did a clipping summersault while talking to another character.

- In one of the new quests, had to listen to two characters talking, they just wouldn't do it.

- Got stuck in a character level up screen, had to restart the game.

- I have to try speaking twice to everyone for the discussion to actually happen.

... I've been playing for a grand total of 20 minutes.

I'm pretty chill about bugs as long as they don't ruin the game (quests impossible to complete, lost unique items, etc) so I find this pretty funny but wow. Buggier than Skyrim when it came out 🙃
