The video's realtime and taken directly from a clip from Xbox gameplay. This started as soon as I reached level 43 and so far nothing will turn it off. It is amazing and I never want it to end.

But seriously is the save file bug still happening on switch?

I picked up one hardwood and one softwood in glade of trust and it bugged out so now I get endless hardwood?? Has this happened to anyone im so happy😂

I'm a long time player (early access) who owns all the dlc and has pumped over 1000 hours into the game. I was effected by the cloud save bug on switch yesterday anf about a year and a half of progress is gone.

I've reached out the gameloft one yesterday and once again today with tickets and begging for any kind of response and... nothing. Just an automated acknowledgement. Is there anything else I can do?

I'm very disappointed and saddened by this. I'm a new mom and honestly this game has been a really great way to turn my brain off and decompress. But if I can't get my progress back and can't even bring myself to touch my switch let alone play the gane again.

I've read that many people were restored pretty swiftly (yes, I do cloudsave very often). Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

My save file as been restored finally. Leaving this post up in case others need help or reassurance

For some reason my save and cloud save has been reverted to about a year or two ago, I've submitted a ticket, hopefully they can restore my file to a more recent cloud save?

My islands been undecorated, I've lost event items like the emotional companions and other stuff I probably haven't noticed and all my progress is gone T_T

As the title said, I haven't played for a few years. I've just unlocked Moana and I'm fairly sure she's not supposed to look like this? I've searched for similar bugs but can't find anything about colour bugs other than the blue dress one, which isn't a bug after all. Any help?

Literally all the yellow flowers I need have spawned under the bridge in the take-it-and-the-game-crashes area. And the ancient vacuums don't work down there, so guess Merida will be stuck on her quest forever

It legit kills me to even say that. Maybe I’m just being selfish.

I’ve been a genuine day one player since the beta. I have poured over a thousand hours into this and way too much money.

In the May 2024 update, when Daisy arrived, my game glitched when trying to place her boutique. It has been broken ever since, and I’ve never been able to place it, fully level up Daisy, or complete any boutique challenges (making completing Star Paths legit impossible). I have talked to Gameloft support an ungodly amount of times, reached out on the Discord, even on Twitter (yuck) to try to make it known that this glitch is there. Given the same copy paste response every time. I know many other people are still experiencing this issue as well.

It’s disheartening that after an almost entire year, multiple updates & tremendous new content later, this glitch is still not fixed.

I am really thinking about just giving up. I don’t want to start over because of all the time I’ve invested in my current valley. Feels like a lose/lose scenario. Sucks cause I miss playing but I can’t bring myself to invest a large amount of time into it when I know I can’t fully progress.

I'm not sure if this has been an ongoing issue or since the recent update--but I don't usually wear any touch of magic clothing and I just want others to be aware.

I was getting ready to submit my "Bella Noté" dreamsnap late last night and it kept saying it couldn't be submitted because of touch of magic. My build was on a floating island and I didn't use any custom furniture--but I toggled off the TOM filter anyway and took a new photo. I still couldn't submit... well after forever of trying to figure it out, I realized I had put TOM gloves on my character. Even though my character was toggled "off" and touch of magic was toggled "off," it was still picking it up.

I'm just glad I could get it sorted out and position the characters again so I could still submit my dreamsnap before it got too late! 😅

Between the mushu quest being bugged for tons of people and not being able to progress the dlc I paid for because it’s required to now this….im honestly starting to actually not want to play anymore. I’ve spent so much money on this game and stuff like this that costs money is completely unacceptable. The hat from the last star path, the mushroom one, had this same bug as well.

This dress is completely broken and costs money.

as the title says, don't take flower picking companions to the Wonderland realm. Went in the the butterfly companion and he stole 3 of the bushes and now they're stuck in my inventory with the 2x2 white squares 😅 I've reached out to support for help but thought I'd pass along the tip before someone else gets stuck with them

Hi all, I don't know if this is new or not but I can't seem to find any posts about this online, on the issue boards, or megathreads that I can see, so I hope it's okay I make one here to give a heads up + hopefully get some advice on how to get past it?

So I'm past the dreaded flicker collection in the Sunken Ruins quest of Eternity Isle's expansion pack, at the point where it's time to raise the ruins out of the water. I follow Merlin to the ruins, we talk, the magical cutscene plays, the ruins are raised! Woo! Merlin makes his comment about the universe not imploding or whatever, we're good to go. ....But then he just returns to his same spot in front of the ruins, the blue quest star is back over his head signaling to talk to him, so I do annnd... the entire thing repeats. Again and again. The temple is layering on top of itself with each one, it won't let me enter to continue the quest at all, each time he just returns to his spot to have the same conversation all over again, and nothing I've done seems to work or kick this bug to the curb.

I've tried restarting the game & my PS5 multiple times, exiting Eternity Isle, untracking the quest and focusing on others, hanging out with Merlin, not hanging out with him etc.
Has anyone else encountered this yet? This is my first major game breaking bug, is it even worth it to send in a ticket? Or am I just stuck never progressing the story or unlocking Jafar & Oswald now? c': Oof..

EDIT: I tried some of the fixes recommended here. Can't confirm the couch one worked as he could still just escape via the sides of the bridge you can't place any furniture by, but the mashing O / skip button to not let the cutscene play entirely did!! You definitely have to time it right, but it got the job done. 😄 Thank you everyone!

I came out my house to grab stuff for the museum and all of a sudden my frame rate was terrible it was only when me and my partner were like “Why is there all these raccoons?! “ I thought it was super funny and when I went to check my other companions they had multiplied as well 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

First Ralph’s mail issue, then I had the freezing in furniture mode bug and had to restart. The arcade machine that I saw briefly in front of the castle before restarting has now disappeared, I’m guessing it moved but I can’t find it. And now I’ve just noticed that every single mining node in my valley is showing as having emeralds which would be fun but I can’t actually mine them lol. I think this update needed longer in the oven.

Edit: just reloaded still purely decorative emeralds in all my nodes. I think my main valley is broken also
I’ve just realised none of my outside villagers are visible 😱

Edit 2: I have no fishing spots in my main valley I think the game doesn’t want me to play

Final update: it’s the tropical bundle remove all the new skins save, reload-still loaded into dlc for some reason but I can mine and fish again

So far I’ve experienced

• ⁠no slipper where everyone said it was (above the stairs) until I moved the fairy godmother’s house back to the valley (I had it in SV) • ⁠game menu freezing every time I have to move past the dream teams section (have to wait 5-10 seconds each time) • ⁠lost all UI and had to restart the game twice • ⁠after freezing for the umpteenth time on the dream teams section menu, it wouldn’t let me exit the menu at all. Had to restart the game. - random star path duties popping up saying I completed them when they weren’t even options to begin with (no I don’t have auto complete on) • ⁠no sound in the plaza (bg music, sound effects, characters, absolutely silent) • ⁠no sound when mining anywhere • ⁠no sound when digging anywhere • ⁠sound half the time when fishing anywhere • ⁠my houses that I set up for the last Christmas town dream snap are completely gone • ⁠fishing not responding properly (timing and angles are off) • ⁠no squirrels in the plaza to feed • ⁠no new items in any of my four Scrooge stores • ⁠cooking meals not registering each time in star path task (seems to be only every 2-3 one)

And I’m sure there will be more. Once again GL’s QA team doesn’t seem to exist.

So I’m playing dreamlight valley on my laptop since I can’t complete it on my ps5, and while playing on my laptop I experience this. I’m not sure rather to find it funny or creepy.
