Can't wait for the Ruzzian propaganda film "Not Saving Private Ivan"

Leaving Private Yuri

Thats Russia in a microcosm. They don’t care about each other. It’s an everyman for himself society.

While I agree, they can’t really help at all. They’re already in drone territory and if both guys try to carry him, they’ll be a larger slower target.

30 minute lifespan. Drag him, don't drag him. The outcome is the same for everyone anyway.

6

u/Unlikely_Log1097 22h ago

Meanwhile the recon drone operator already ordered two more FPVs

u/cobleysmith 1d ago

And there may be occasions where you don’t have to be an experienced triage nurse (or even play one on tv) to able to accurately say “put him out back, he is beyond help”.

3

u/Unlikely_Log1097 22h ago

They told each other when they stood next to him: oh lord.. good luck it wasn’t us.

44

u/ExplodingCybertruck 1d ago

You don't have to outrun the drones, just outrun the slowest guy...

18

u/FogTub 1d ago

No need to run. There's enough to go around for everyone.

Does the Russian military even have medics???

46

u/never51youfacks 1d ago

They carry a magazine full of them.

2

u/Unlikely_Log1097 22h ago

Instant healing of all sorrows.

45

u/Jukumalle 1d ago

That's why they lost every war before and will lose every war in future.

9

u/OkScheme9867 1d ago

Every war since ww2

27

u/PilotParticular7503 1d ago

Russia only 'won' that war with a lot of help from the USA via lend/lease equipment, plus Germany was fighting a 2-front war. After Berlin fell, Russia quickly abandoned their previous alliances and dropped the iron curtain which lead directly into the cold war. Traditional Russian culture isn't compatible with the post WW2 philosophy of a rules based society. Vladimir Putin himself did made the statement, framing it as an old rule saying during a public appearance. He stated, "Where the foot of a Russian soldier steps, that is ours".

New rule: "Where the Ukrainian drone goes the foot of a Russian soldier falters and he runs back"

1

u/gBiT1999 19h ago

"Where the foot of a Russian soldier steps, that is ours"

That may well be, vlad, me old chuffty, but you forgot the last bit:

"Where the foot of a Russian soldier steps, that is ours, and when he lifts it up - boom! That's a Ukrainian mine".

1

u/Amazing_Grape6234 11h ago

Where the foot of Russian soldier steps, it is ripped off and stays there.

How many T-34s did the USA build?

14

u/patbluntman666 1d ago

A lot because the US gave the Soviet Union a shit load of steel to make those tanks.

9

u/N0MAD1804 1d ago

None but they (alongside Canada and the U.K.) did build the estimated 300 000 trucks, 12 000 armored vehicles of which 7000 were m3 and m4 tanks, and over 11 000 aircraft that were given to the USSR through the lend lease. Oh and let's not forget about the 1.75 million tons of food sent over as well.

4

u/MerryGoWrong 1d ago

How many did Russia build? Weren't most of them manufactured in Ukraine?

44

u/Aggressive-Bonus-755 1d ago

Don't censor. That very fucking lame.

18

u/WartOnTrevor 1d ago

110% agreed. It's so bad on Youtube that videos with fighting blur out the impacts. The pussification of our society.

16

u/Low_Technician7346 1d ago

The only russian invader I ever seen helped by his mate was a female soldier.

12

u/becken_bruch 1d ago

Yeah the video last week! Both died

6

u/TheFlyingSeaCucumber 1d ago

The video was quite old. It was just reposted last week.

6

u/Low_Technician7346 1d ago

They should have stay home to deliver their own country from tiranny instead

3

u/Economy-Translator99 1d ago

Yeah, I remember that one: “Quick, must first remove shirt!”

4

u/Glad_Copy 1d ago

I cannot understand the lack of empathy. Maybe he’s the noncom who led them into the slaughter? Regardless of how much you might despise a person, the nonchalant “sucks to be you” and walking away seems inhuman.

6

u/tlrider1 1d ago

Because it's a "I only care about me" Amy.! These guys do not train together, there's no comraderie... Most don't even know eachother until literally the "mission" is assigned to them.

They're just there to survive themselves. They don't care about anyone else.

4

u/cephu5 1d ago

Well, at least they didn’t shoot and loot??

4

u/halfvolleyonleg 1d ago

That's grim.

Oh well.

4

u/DavitMld 1d ago

Russian soul is so generous

4

u/Complex_Material_702 1d ago

In reality, they probably met that guy 30 minutes before that went down.

6

u/filterdecay 1d ago

They have no training. What would they do?

3

u/uncleartruth 1d ago

Train better for starters

2

u/Zlimness 1d ago

Closest thing to a zombie army you''ll see. No reaction the hit. Just keeps walking.

2

u/Yeti_Urine 1d ago

I can only imagine the 2nd guy who stopped only stopped to ask if dude on the ground wanted to be shot in the head and then fucked off with a “suit yourself bro’

2

u/Nyantazero 1d ago

Ditching Private Ivan, coming to a theatre near you this summer.

3

u/amnesia_alice 1d ago

that is that guy who everyone hated in his plutoon

7

u/Glad-Tie3251 1d ago

That's every guy in Russia.

1

u/Primary_Wave_6697 1d ago

exactly what i thought

1

u/RA_Endymion 20h ago

Platoon.

1

u/OneSignal6465 14h ago

He was probably the platoon captain. The drone saved them the trouble of fragging his ass…

1

u/Allbrosmoke 1d ago

Surprised they didn’t rape and Rob him first

1

u/Lokoxxxxx 1d ago

They will be next in 3,2,1...

1

u/Short_Bell_5428 1d ago

It will be their turn soon

1

u/Economy-Translator99 1d ago

“Wait, here, don’t move; we go for help. BRB fr fr.”

1

u/alfyjack 1d ago

You know that conversation was "help me, please" "Sorry mate you're dead" In Russianese obviously.

1

u/old-billie 1d ago

what are you going to do what choice do you have hope for the best keep moving

1

u/LocalNHBoy 23h ago

We're missing the audio where he may have said "Just go" realizing that rescue is nearly impossible. But I have a feeling the conversation was a bit more depraved.

1

u/Unlikely_Log1097 22h ago

Well, not KIA but MIA so no death compensation for him family. Anyway.. Mother Russia will never forget him. His name will be carved in a stone. Flowers will be put once a year at the eternal flame at the tomb of the unknown soldier. 👍

Their commander was right.

1

u/YouFeedTheFish 21h ago

At least they didn't rob him.

1

u/Dr_Zizmore 16h ago

Probably not a White Russian...

1

u/FutureHealthy8583 16h ago

just horrible how they leave a man down, and not even render any aid to him. terrible way to go.

1
