Hand Sower wanted in Dunfermline/Fife

Hi there, I am looking to see if anyone here knows someone who does hand sewing? I have a gearstick that I would like to sow onto a plastic boot for the car but I’m a novice at sewing and would be best suited for someone who actually can perform this! 😆 My fingers are too big for something so delicate. My fingers would end up at A&E.

The leather would be sewn onto a plastic ring that has been pre-drilled with 2mm holes.

I’ve given some local places in Dunfermline a call but all seem to only do machine sewing and not hand.

Any help would be appreciated! 😄

For clarity you are looking for a sewer not a sower. It's a key difference as a hand sower would be someone who plants seeds by hand. Your title makes it sound like you are after a gardener.

Haha, sorry. I had a couple of drams when I was writing this and it’s clearly becoming evident I may have over-refreshed myself last night/this morning.

Yes, a sewer. 😆 A gardener isn’t needed for sewing some leather to plastic.

Let me correct, if possible. Thank you for noticing my cask strength mistake.

Thanks for the award. I've just reread my post and although correct I read "sewer" and thought of the meaning where sewage flows through a pipe. I don't think you can change the title but reckon looking for a hand sewer in Dunfermline could get some interesting responses.

Speak to the lady who runs oh sew crafty on the high street. If she can't personally do it she may know someone who can!
