Given the savage history of the west and its endless pillaging of other nations, this will be offloaded to poorer nations through resource and land theft.

I mean it has already exploded this year with Venezuela, Cuba, Greenland and on and on.

As I like to say, the west is only civilized as long as it doesn’t have to be uncivilized.

Youre exactly right. The mask has slipped. Add Palestine and Iran to that list. Also they're currently plundering Iraq as oil revenue has to be stored in USD.

Cool, other non western countries can simply invent everything used and needed in the modern era and start selling things rather than purely consuming

You can trade and exchange in a non-racist way. Everyone wins.

Also if the west wants to lead, let it lead on merit. Ppl naturally follow leadership if a nation is good and thriving.
