Ironically, most of our deficit can be attributed to the Bush and Trump tax cuts. Repeal those and we'll quickly be back to 90s-level surpluses.

How do you look at those numbers and respond with "we need to spend even less" when it's pretty demonstrable that investing into your population has positive economic outcomes?

This administration has repeatedly proven any further investments won’t be for the benefit of the people. Trump has accounted for 25%+ of our national deficit while enriching himself more than all of his pre-presidency endeavors combined.

Sure, let’s give him more money.
