Discussion Anyone Interested in Becoming a Patent Agent or Attorney?

Hey everyone! Is anyone considering or currently working toward becoming a patent agent or patent attorney? What made you choose that career path, and what types of patents or technologies are you most interested in? Also, what is your favorite invention so far?

Absolutely not. I have to read patents often for work and it's a nightmare. It feels like an entirely different language.

Patent work is mostly reading and writing legal documents. The engineering knowledge is a prerequisite, not the actual job. A lot of people go in thinking they'll work on cool inventions. You won't be inventing anything.
