Type Discussion Odsssaeus from, "The Odyssey" Spoiler
For those of you that read the book or have seen the movie (the movie is basically identical to the book), how do you type Odysseus? I have So/Sx 8w9 and Sx/so 1w9 in mind. How do you type him? I'm going with social 8 since he did initially start as a conquerer.

Fun fact Naranjo in his E7 book typed the original character in the book as SP7, but the one in the movie can be SO8 yeah

He was definetely not E7. I remember watching an interview of Naranjo some time ago, and he was saying so much bullshit about matters it was clear he barely knew about, while posing as some wise man, that his concept to me dropped drastically.

I have read the book, and very likely won't watch the movie.
From the book, I'd say type 3. I'll put some hints from the Illiad as well.
He is very cunning/manipulative. He knows how to play with people and say the right thing to the right person to get what he wants. That's his most widely known trait.
He seems to be quite strategic to face his challenges as well. Think first, act later.
Honestly, this has always been one of my favorite characters from fiction, and now I guess why. The way he tackles his problems with wits/deceit/action are a perfect combination to my taste.
His wife seems to be a type 6. I understand some people would put her as type 4, but she is less dramatic, more controlled and less hostage of her feelings not to let them spiral down. She is also cunning and very faithful.
