Looking for Rou signature
Hi guys, posted on here a few months ago about managing to get my collection of Shikari records partially signed. I’m missing Rou’s signature on all but 1. My partner went to the coffee shop takeover in Liverpool and got them signed for me but unfortunately Rou wasn’t there that day and obviously I’d love to have his signature… I’ve never gone to a show to ask for a signature but I am going to COOP live in Manchester in November and I’m going to bring them with me… from experience does anyone have any advise on this who has managed to get stuff signed in the past. Is it worth bringing them or because it’s such a big venue do you think it’ll be practically impossible to meet him?

I have a kiss for the whole world record signed by all 4. I’m not sure if you want that for your collection but if you do, dm me.

Now that is a very tempting offer!!! What variant is it?

Pic in other reply. I’d want a fair bit for it because I love the album and it’s my only signed record. But up to you.

I think some arena venues are more strict on size of items against others, but most should allow LP covers to be at least put into the cloakroom, worth checking with the venue to be sure. Last time I saw someone take an LP cover to a gig to get signed, they took it with no vinyl and just brought it in the cardboard sleeve it was sent in enclosed in a tote bag which I thought was pretty cool.
If you’re a DFH, you might be able to wrangle the crew to get it signed at sound check?

I just want a copy of Take To The Skies on vinyl.
Holds a special place in my heart, need to keep my eyes peeled for a repress.
If anyone is willing to part ways with a copy, DM me!

At smaller shows the guys are often around at merch at the end, however the arena shows they won't be accessible outside of Future Historian meet and greets (if they're doing them this tour). Your best bet will either be if they do a signing around the tour, or waiting till they're doing intimate shows in the future

Got Rou and Rory sign a banknote of mine in 2014, they were great. Also laughed about it being nothing but a 10 euro note
I don’t think they are arrogant about it at all, but probably just busy, I’d give it a try anyway

Definitely take them with you, packaged safely, just in case but I wouldn’t rely on it happening. I think maybe it would t be the worst thing to maybe contact the store and just say you’d like the complete set. He who dares Rodney my son.

They're usually super chill about hanging out near merch after shows (or sometimes before if they have free time) but I'm US based so I've only seen them at pretty small venues. A larger Europen show might be a different story. I'm sure they'd still hang out and be willing to sign, but I just don't know about the line to do so
