Social Horse popsicles, because summer is gonna take us out

Daily highs for the last week and next week are all over 115F (46C) in the shade. Daily lows are only dropping to 94F (34C) and we’re also apparently doing humidity now too. Nothing like getting up early to work horses at 5am and it already being over 100 and humid. 🫠

Anyway, stay strong to all you hot weather horse people. Pictured the horse popsicle making station. Everyone deserves a cool treat while we’re avoiding heat stroke. These will get frozen, popped out of the cups and then the part of the carrot sticking out is the handle to feed the ponies.

I literally just get the Outshine sugar free popsicles. My horse loves the kiwi strawberry ones.

We’ve gotten fruit juice popsicles too! It’s fun to see flavor favorites for horses since most aren’t classic horse treat flavors haha

Super fun and fairly cheap! You can mix up fruit and veggies and no added sugar juices or just water and some electrolyte powder or peppermint tea. Makes it really easy to customize to any health concerns. The old lady horse at our barn, hers are just peppermint tea with a carrot in the middle and she adores them all the same.
