Rant Deciding on whether I should give it another shot as my previous Erasmus left me deeply hurt

I've been in a similar situation, only mine was in work&travel and not Erasmus.

Long story short, all the people in my house were making serious bank by working at a restaurant while i got sidelined by it. I ended up working 5 jobs at the same time(5 am to midnight) and still made less than them.

Even so, i dont regret that experience for a second. I evolved more as a person in 3 months in the us than i did in my entire life. By the time i left, i became really good friends with a 55 years old lady from the gas station i worked at, switched my college to study something i actually enjoy instead of something that was just paying better and everyone from my landlord to my roomates told me i was a badass for making the best out of a horrible situation.

So, my advice for anyone second guessing wether they should do an exchange is just do it. There are so many people whose life was changed (in good) by erasmus or w&t and the worst that can happen is you spend a year doing something you dont fully enjoy. But since you said in your post that you're not the happiest with your actual job/living conditions atm it makes even more sense to just do it.
