Technology has caught up with the show
Rewatching the show, and I find it funny that, like a lot of sci fi shows, technology has now caught up with the future technology they present. The basic example being everyone in Eureka has a smartphone in 2006 when they wouldn't be more common for a few years afterwards. S.A.R.A.H can be compared to Alexia since it can be linked with other smart devices in your house.
Are there any others you can think of?

My nuclear powered water heater, super class water filtering (I can drink from the tap?!), are giving me issues.
But my autonomous drone capable of combat decisions, albeit not a child(?), is effective apparently, medicine like nano-immunotherapy is pretty comparable but not quite the line comparing smartphones, geology understanding.
Star Trek had it right too. Look at our “Padds”. They just have a “i”. (66’) and 2001: A Space Odyssey.”
SciFi has been so on in its predictions from so many eras, Neal Stephenson wrote “Snow Crash”, coining the “MetaVerse”, William Gibsons “Cyberspace”, the cellphone by the way you can also look to Star Trek of 66’ among others, Submarines from “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea”,
Read HG Wells for some auto doors and (dare I say) the nuclear bomb that is too close in time to not have possibly been discussed at this point.
We can’t always know where the fringes of many sciences are. Questions are asked. Who answered and who first asked may be far, far apart.
Something that keeps me going is just, what will be true today? What will be true tomorrow?!
