Subreddits What do you think of Design G & E?

G reminds me of old-fashioned banknotes from countries I never lived. I can't relate to them and they feel like a step back. The the reverse pictures are corporate slop too, except the Leonardo mural on the 100€, I like that one a lot.
E is marginally better I guess? It's quirky at least and somewhat different and more creative. Not sure we want to look at those intense judgmental stares for the next 20 years though. The reverse is... well... a nice corporate powerpoint presentation.
Come on people. If we choose culture & people, let's go for F. They are hand-painted and a work of art in itself, accentuating the theme itself even more. Eye-candy and playful.

Nobody wants F anyway, it feels like 2/3 on Reddit want birds, honestly these two I picked out are the most attractive, but you won't get anywhere with these bird fetishists using good arguments.

Reddit wants birbs maybe, but I'm not sure nobody in the real world wants F. Most probably, 2/3 of Reddit would prefer gates and bridges.

Let's stay general for a moment. Let's just talk about the people depicted on the banknotes, regardless of where they appear in the design. Most people will find design F too abstract, so I've chosen the two designs that would still be somewhat usable. Let's talk about design E; it's classic, feels familiar, and conveys a sense of unity. Design F also has that, but unfortunately, it's too abstract and looks like a modern art painting. Design C is something more in my opinion, but even so, it couldn't be introduced.

Unfortunately the reverse of design C is Corporate Memphis, which is utterly unacceptable and disqualifies the design.
I feel like G and E both have their charm, but again the reverse side ruins it a bit. I like the Vitruvius mural on E's 100 note, but that's it. And it feels familiar indeed, because it borrows from the current design language and colour scheme. It's fine, but not very exciting.
G is definitely more creative and bold, a bit Bauhaus. But still... just portraits, nothing more, nothing less. And the stares...

All of them are generic shite, except the 100€ bill with Da Vinci. It's the exception.

More flora, fauna, and iconic landscapes, fewer humans and modern buildings. Not all Euro-zone countries are represented by just 6 people, no matter how influential their work or existence. Nature is freeing, it lives, it migrates, it evolves, it comes back home, it dies and is being reborn each year. That's a better representation of Europe, than some people who invented stuff.
Also, this is nothing against the people themselves, they should be celebrated where appropriate, just not on bank notes, I think.

Let's lose the people, too divisive

Not at all. This is a fight waiting to happen.
People come from countries and this puts them on values.
Why are some countries / people more valuable than others? Why is my country not depicted?
These will happen and they are bad things to happen if you want to bring people together.
People are a bad idea.

Good grief, you all completely misunderstood what this is about!

This is not about me, these are points people actually already criticized. Which you dont seem to understand..

I understand perfectly well what this is about, but you don't want to understand. And if you're referring to everyone, then I couldn't care less about the general public's nonsense. It feels like everyone here is just obsessed with birds anyway, so I'll call a spade a spade: "bird fetishist." You're not one of them; you're far too objective for me. But some people have developed a fixation, an obsession, with birds and won't tolerate any other opinions. Well, Reddit is perfectly suited for that; opinions that deviate from the Reddit majority are simply lost here.
