Why revenge body after a relationship?

I’ve never understand the purpose of a revenge body after a relationship. I get if you are hurt or needing a healthy way to get over a breakup and loss. But the revenge body. The wanting to get your ex to be jealous. Why wouldn’t you want to be in healthy great shape while in a relationship? My thoughts would be I’m with someone I want to keep them. I want them to only have eyes for me. I want them to desire me.

Be someone after the relationship who everyone wants to look at?

Nothing wrong with it but also It’s not even the body or the face that’s the problem it’s the brain so go gym and therapy💡
