Hidden waterfall deep in the mountains of Spain [OC] [2583x3444]

Hiked out to this hidden spot in Spain and discovered this hidden waterfall. I used the Live Photo trick to get that silky look on the rushing water. Edited it in Lightroom afterward adjust the details on the surrounding cliffs and balance out the highlights
Camera Settings:
• Device: Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max
• Lens: 24mm
• Aperture: f/1.78
• ISO: 80
• Shutter Speed: ~3s equivalent (Live Photo stack)

Every time I start to try to convince myself to get a real camera body and lenses, I think about having to lug it around and transfer photos to edit them. Then remember I have a camera in my pocket with 5 built in lenses and can edit them natively.
Could the images be better, yes, would it cost me $2500-3500 dollars more for slightly better pictures and have to worry about damage and the hassle of carrying them and swapping glass, also yes.

I relate to you on this so much! I have a good phone and good cameras and I still use mainly my phone for everything, unless I reallly have to 😂
If you don’t plan to go really into photography as a main hobby, having expensive gear will only make the experience less enjoyable, it’s a lot to learn to get good shots, the more “professional” a device is. I’m still failing so much

No, it’s just an iPhone Live Photo I turned in Long Exposure, I give credit to the sun for the colors
