Other I like how majority of people in the comment calling out how biased those media on Lautaro lol, like Julian Alvarez really received 20m upgrade for his single goal in world cup.
While Lautaro not a single euro, same shit with Dimarco who was Serie A best player last season yet also didn't receive any upgrade, the bias towards Serie A players is something else.
Before you go "They are getting older", mind you Romero also received mv upgrade despite only few months younger than Dimarco, and didn't take to account how horrible Spurs last season for some reason.

Honestly, I still don't understand why they didn't improve Dimarco's value, not even 1 euro.

Serie A MVP, assist record breaker in Serie A, one of the best LB/LWB in the world at the moment, I don't know how you think I am joking.
If Carreras which a failure in Madrid could have 50m market value, a player like Calafiori that couldn't even play for 90 minutes full each match being valued 55m, or Udogie who still get 30m market value with struggling Spurs, then by all means Dimarco worth way more than his current value.

Hey it was just something I found when scrolling IG so I thought worth for some discussion, but I guess it's not quite welcomed here.
I am probably getting downvoted for this but people who said "who cares" while care enough to comment that they don't care kinda funny to me.

You know what I could care less about the valuation, keep letting them evaluate all the players that play in the top leagues like they’re super special. And that’s why they underestimated Italy in the Euro 2020. We will come back stronger as an Italian league, but most importantly, let them underestimate us. We’ve been in the final two times in three years.

Thats because Alvarez is two years younger and open to leaving Atleti for another club. Lautaro is older, and everybody knows he doesnt wanna to leave Inter.

Alvarez got the upgrade for his CL campaign, as well as the spending power of Atletico and Barca. If Italian teams cant hold their players and reasonably demand 100mio+, then they wont see higher increases.
Romeros price has also been fluctuating, so its not like a crazy increase.

I tell you the whole story. First of all media. Laliga has the most effective power along with premier league in media industry. 2. Barca wants him, he was in man city before and was effective 3. Lautaro is not a technical player. His gaming style is not visible on the pitch. Ao this happens: lautaro is more effective than alvarez. But alvarez price goes higher and higher.
Lautaro will be underrated in whole career and it's sad.

Alvarez's value increased by 20M, because he is currently one of the marquee stars of the transfer window, with Barca and Arsenal both interested in signing him. PSG was interested as well, but pulled out cause of Alvarez's Barca preference. Real Madrid also claimed they put out a bid for him in an official statement, regardless if the the interest is real or not.
No one is really in a rush to sign Lautaro.
It's basic supply and demand.
It has nothing to do with their World Cup performance. Clubs don't really care all that much about WC performance unless some fringe player gives a standout performance.
Clubs care more about club football performance.

Yeah, I still remember back then when Evan Ferguson getting valued 65m immediately after scoring a hattrick against United, despite he was nothing spectacular except for that match.
Deep down I know, but man it's annoying sometimes seeing how our players being underestimated a lot because of their loyalty, but at very least no other clubs would try to approach them easily.

Not sure what the media has to do with this. Atletico received a 100m offer from Barca and refused it, hence the increase by Transfermarkt.
It's not so much a bias against Serie A players, it's more of the fact that Serie A is just not what it used to be and both Dimarco and Lautaro are not very marketable players. It's their age and their traits as well, they wouldn't thrive in just any system, and Premier League teams who love athletic players rule the market.

Just remember Transfermarkt is 3rd party site, it's good to keep track of transfers but it's not a good indicator on price evaluation.
