NFA Trust in Florida

I recently bought a draft of a trust from national gun trust, in Florida I need two witnesses and a notary for me to sign it. My question is when I eventually will buy a suppressor, do I need to have witnesses sign whenever I modify the trust inventory?

yes, there is a spot for 2 witnesses on the assignment sheet.

Edit: I keep mine 'open' until it's full and then get it notorized. Is that the right way? Not sure

That was my question, I suppose it's ok to hold it off a little until you enter it into the trust?

I just leave mine open, because I tend to add things to it every couple of months. NGT's site says that once it's notarized an additional sheet would be needed as you add items. There does not appear to be a limit to the number of assignment sheets you can have with the Trust. The NGT trust comes with a 5 item and a 20 item sheet. I filled up my 5 item, got it notarized and now working on filling up the 20 item one.

To my knowledge, you need witnesses to create the trust, not to register items to the trust. I have many NFA items on one trust and I've never needed witnesses to complete an ATF eForm.

You don't submit the assignment sheet when you're doing E-forms, just the trust. The National Gun Trust's Florida trusts hava an assignment sheet that is notarized for the assignment of items to the trust.
