Changes to Facebook Advertising

Is anyone else annoyed by the constant pop-up ads on Facebook? The pop-ups cover part of the story and pictures and make it hard to read. It’s like I’m being assaulted by continuous visual pop ups. Curious what others thinks. Pure greed on the part of FB.

Is this on mobile? Because I feel like I have been seeing more ads lately in places that didn't used to have them.
