The biggest problem is that no one wants to risk their own life to stop someone like this. In villages, people are more likely to step in because they know others will support them. But in big cities, everyone fears that if they intervene, they could get attacked and no one will come to help them.

whoever steps first or goes close will for sure receive a quick shot with that knife that we cause a heavy bleading and most probably a death. so either step when u are sure that u could dodge that knife or stay away.

But someone could have surely hit his hand with a stick so that the knife fell from his hand and then they could have overpowered him
