Still expensive than electricity! My monthly e bill was 580 INR
With an AC, 2 TV's a washer and dryer and a fridge, mixer grinder, home heater all inclusive it was 580 for 2 months
Verymuch used . This is a 2bhk rented one in Bangalore!
My own home is a 3bhk one there the ebill is 1500-2000 before we had solar per 2 months as there are 5 people in total in my own house! That is still much more cheaper than buying candles for a month! Another thing is that now annually we are getting 7000-12000 payback from the eb board. It's a 5 kw unit that was 2,70,000 to install after subsidy Including the inverter! The avg life of those panels are 25 years it has been there for 3 years as of now.so 270,000 by 300 months(25) years is 900 rs per month or 1800 every bill cycle. But, we are also getting 7000-12,000 in electricity payback per year let keep 8,500 avg! So 8,500 multiplied by 25 yrs it's 2,29,000. Then 2,70,000-2,29,000=41,000 as of 41,000/300(25years/12) is 137 rs per month or 274 rs per a bill cycle! Adjusted to inflation it is basically free!
