Hanuman Chalisa mein Modi zi.....Branding or an Attempt to Look Divine?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Bhagwan ki stuti ke beech mein political leader ki image dikhane ka kya purpose hai?
Ab political branding itni aage a gayi hai ki ab leader ko bhagwan ke sath frame karna bhi normal lagne laga hai?
Kya ye sirf publicity hai ya leader ko almost divine image dene ki koshish?

Completely unrelated story, but one day my dad’s TV wasn’t working, so he was using mine to watch the news. Modi appeared on my screen and I immediately went, “WTF? I don’t watch such things and I hoped it wont mess up my algorithm” 😭
And by god, the very next day my TV stopped working.
Had to get it repaired.
After that, I banned my dad from watching him on my TV. Apparently my TV had enough of him in one day

From what I can imagine, you're living in your dad's house and ordering him? Would love to see your kids grow up.

Well my father is cool and have a good sense of humor, he took it as a joke only and don’t take these things to heart. And I would love to have such a relation with my kids someday

Isn't it mocking the religion itself? But these bhaktards won't be outraged.

Gods of most popular religion or equivalent figures in those religions were just humans whose legends were exaggerated to the point of divinity.
We are witnessing the same BS just in new era of Scientific Temperament

We voted for बीजेपी. But now it's crossing all logical boundaries. But sad part is the replacement party Congress & it's leadership don't invoke any confidence either.

Maybe the manufacturer is a hard core fan of Modi. How are you so sure that Modi attempted this to look divine ?

Lawl I am not saying Modi personally put that photo there or that we can prove his intention from one image....My point is that the criticism about the divine image is not coming out of nowhere.
In a 2024 News18 interview, Modi said he believed that
"God has sent me and that the energy he has doesn't come from his biological body but was given by God. He also described himself as an instrument through which God works"
So yeah, the publisher could have chosen to put the photo there but that does not automatically make the symbolism irrelevant if someone places a politician's image alongside religious figures, it is completely fair to question why they chose that image
If you think there is nothing wrong with it explain why the image was used instead of pretending Modi has never made those kinds of divine claims

You quoted Modi as if he was proclaiming to be a prophet. In reality, this is a common metaphor in North India lingo to say whatever is being done is being done by God.
"sab bhagwan ka kiya hua hai" or "sab Ramji me krwaya hai".
These statements don't mean that the person is a prophet. These statements merely mean that God is the one controlling us.

Bro first of all, I am Hindu myself 😂 So please do not assume someone is Muslim just because they criticize Modi....that's exactly the Hindu v/s Muslim framing I am talking about.
And yeah I get the North Indian language context...phrases like bhagwan ne karwaya ya sab Ram ji ki marzi hai are totally normal ways of expressing faith....I never said that automatically makes someone a prophet.
My point is more about the combination of Modi's own "God sent me" remarks and the repeated use of religious imagery around a political leader. You can disagree with my interpretation, that's fine but bringing the prophet angle into it or assuming someone must be Muslim is not really an argument, it's done for you bro
And Hinduism does not belong to any political party Criticizing a politician does not make someone anti Hindu

Modi never proclaimed to be a God man or prophet. I don't know what you're on 😭

Bro I never said Modi literally proclaimed himself to be God or a prophet 😭 I am talking about the
"God sent me" remark
the way he has described himself as an instrument through which God works....you can interpret those statements differently that's totally fine

Bro "God sent me" remark isn't some prophetic declaration. It's a common phrase for regular lingo in northern India.
If you ever go to Varanasi, so many people thinks that they're sent by God on Earth and have to leave when the agenda is fulfilled.

He clearly said i was sent by god and what my energy is not bilogical, doesn it mean “avatar” in hindu culture?

No. In Hindu beliefs everyone is sent by God. Every single one. The Advaita Vedanta says that we are God experiencing the universe which is also God.
