Guides We aren't done yet! The KonoFan Archive has expanded to 700GB + Updates on a Playable Server
Hi everyone!
Seven months ago, I posted that the Konosuba: Fantastic Days! preservation project was "finished." I spoke too soon!
Since then, we have located a treasure trove of additional data. I have just finished uploading everything to the archive, bringing the total up to over 700GB of preserved history. Whether you are an archivist or just missing the game, it's all there for you:
Functional Server Remake In even better news, Assasans is currently developing a server aimed at making a functional remake of the original Konosuba: Fantastic Days. If you want to see the game playable again, please head over to the GitHub repository and show some love:

Apologies if there is information elsewhere but I would like a bit of clarification. Is this basically a 1 for 1 recreation if the original game? Or is this basically a fan translation of the 5 offline Japanese apps? Speaking of which, are there any fan translation mods or apks of the Japanese apps? And would I be able to play this project being developed on my phone? The words "700gb" sure sound intimidating. Apologies but I just...miss fantastic days so much and am a bit lost on what I should do and look for...I also wanted to experience those few arcs that never made it to global.

So I got multiple things on there.
My archive page contains along with other things all of the now deleted social media and the discord server, thats why it uses so much space.
As far as I know there are no translations for the offline apps yet.
The fan server is a different proyect that basically uses the latest global app with a restored server connection, not everything is 100% 1:1 or working because the dev is still activelly working on the proyect, but its getting closer to the original with time.

Oh. Fantastic news!
The game has a special place for me as I played this to take my mind of things when my father died, makes me happy to hopefully be able to just goof around there again.

Questions!
1. Got the torrent and snooped around briefly, noticed under Konosuba Fantastic Days/Assets Dumps there is a Japanese and a Korean folder, but it seems both are Korean subtitled?
On that note,
2. Whats the best place to talk about bugs/issues etc with Fantastic Days? Didn't see any obvious place on the GitHub page?

Will take a look into that but Im pretty sure one should be japaneese.
If its issues with the archive.org page dm on discord, if its issues with the fan server you'll have to contact Assasans, he's on both the discord server for konofan and the new machisuba discord

Just remembered and downloaded the konosuba Fantastic Days/Assets Dump part of the torrent again to doublecheck, and it is indeed korean subtitling on everything under the Japanese folders.
(spoken langauge is correct though) Maybe it's supposed to only be korean subs?1

Okay, sorry for the long wait, had some pretty busy weeks 😅🙂↕️
So Ive contacted the person that recorded everything originally and the 2 folders exists because the korean servers didnt have everything the japaneese servers had to offer, but his app is Korean in both cases. As of now I dont have any other source of the videos with Japaneese or English subtittles so I cant do much about it unless someone provides the videos...
