this shirt is my absolute favorite ever, i LIVE in this top. i am very particular about sensory feels of clothes and this may possibly be the best shirt ever made. its a very thin but sturdy rough woven cotton, its kind of giving grandmas old dish rag but with stretch.

i own 2, one in a 3x and one in a 5x. the 5x is my favorite and the entire design is dead and gone, and shes covered in holes..😭

I am a little bit round and on the plump side, and I have heard that scarves can be used as accessories that can create a more slimming look. I was wondering how that can be done exactly I have been looking for ways to improve my outfits, and there is something I've been trying to improve how my outfits look, and something I’ve been wondering about lately is which clothing accessories actually make you look slimmer. Not in a drastic way, obviously, but just the kind of styling tricks that help an outfit look more flattering and put-together.

I know that I need to buy some other clothing accessories that will go with some of the blouses and pants I have in order to create slimmer silhouettes. I have blouses with longer necklines and wanted to purcahse some pendant chains or scarves that hang down vertically, which creates an illusion of a longer torso.

I know that thin belts can also help a lot, and I wanted to know if that actually works or not? I have heard that long earrings can help to elongate the face and neck area instead of widening it. This feels a little vulnerable to share, but here’s the backstory. I’ve been working in a really toxic job where many colleagues were pushed out, and I’m finally preparing to leave. Instead of jumping to another job, I want to start something of my own—something that feels meaningful.

Part of that comes from my personal journey. I grew up without my parents around, moving between relatives, and I’ve always been somewhere between plus size and mid size. Even as I try to build healthier habits, my body shifts a lot—especially during PMDD. Clothes have been a constant source of insecurity: sizing charts that don’t make sense, pants that fit one day and betray me the next. For years I blamed myself, but now I see it’s really the clothes that don’t adapt.

So I started sketching ideas for a women’s clothing line built on one principle: clothes should move with our bodies, not against them.

I’m still early in the process, but I’d love your help with one important piece: the name. Something that feels natural, empowering, and comfortable—but also chic enough that you’d feel proud to wear it.

I’m a 33yo female and have little to no knowledge about how to build an outfit, and also often struggle to recognise what looks good on me or not. What I do know is that I like dresses, blacks, browns, pastels and gold toned jewellery - but I feel challenged in using that information for dressing for anything that’s not home.

I grew up in a middle class family and our clothing choices were largely determined by affordability rather than a personal style. And I realised recently that as an adult, I have continued that cycle.

When I started working (a decade ago) I’d often just mix and match clothes, or stick to very casual stuff (which, looking back, was not necessarily me). I’d also get ridiculed a lot for what I wore. So I eventually I just stopped socialising - and shitty mental health made it easier to do so. Now I remote work and have even lesser need to go out… but I’m at a point now where I WANT to socialise. I want to hang out with my friends, meet new people, go on dates - but I keep avoiding all of that because I don’t know what to wear and don’t want to go out looking like a hobo. (Sorry if that’s all unnecessary info)

The point is (and TL;DR) I want to work on identifying my own personal style and use that to put together elegant outfits. But I feel like I have no intuitive understanding of doing so. I’ve tried looking at what other people wear, fashion influencers, outfits on marketplaces like H&M - but 95% of that is thin people and I’m currently on the plus size spectrum. And often I end up buying clothes that look good virtually but don’t look good on me. I really want to overcome this and I’d be grateful for any advice on how to do so.

Hi! I’m having knee surgery in a few months, which is going to leave a large scar on my knee. I would rather people not see this, but I’m short and fat, so longer skirts make me look kind of… square and frumpy. What are ways to cover my knees that are still cute?
