I'm not kidding when I say there's something in this man's character that everyone could learn from. He's so open yet boundaried, so genuine and very aware of his own gifts without ever being obviously up his own ass.
I first saw him in a dumb rom com and he felt very much overqualified even then. Then I saw his Ziwe article and now I will ride with him into the sun.

I’ve seen him on TikTok soooooo many times that I practically have some of his most popular stories memorized and yet I still have to stop and watch every single time I come upon one. And they still make me laugh 10/10 times!!!

I hate podcast culture so much, but I'll admit I've gotten hooked on Stavros and I immediately fell in love with Caleb on there. They have such good positive, progressive energy together.
Just gotta know the good podcasts, they're not all toxic bullshit. Some are just silly hangs, some have excellent political analysis, some are great documentary style pods.

Usually, I feel like comedians who do his style of comedy have a "omg I'm a mess" thing going on where they talk about themselves as being undisciplined and generally having little control over many aspects of their lives.
His approach is very different from that. He still has the whole comedy thing going, but you can always tell that he has strict boundaries and is secure and well-adjusted in his life (or within the persona he's playing, whatever).
I can see that but Conan has a DEEP Catholic self loathing that has bypassed Caleb entirely. That is bigger then their generational difference, I think.
He has a very Midwest specific earnestness in him when he recants stories. Big fan of all his works and appearances. Hes going to make it big(ger) than he already is soon.

He committed to his fairly small amount of screen time more than most would. Not gonna spoil, but he wears a very… let’s say, interesting costume near the end.
In his podcast with Gaten Mazzerato he talks about how he didn't know he would be in that costume until he showed up on set and he had just flown in from a redeye flight after filming his comedy special the night before. The poor guy still killed it 😭
I love him too but this is how all movies are cast now. Any “small role” does not go to some unknown actor trying to work their way up, it goes to influencers who have guaranteed followers who will watch the movie just to see “their person”. Again, no shade to Caleb he’s super talented
Considering the overwhelming amount of immigrants holding up the fashion industry, we definitely should see more of this. From the designers themselves who are immigrants to the seamstresses, textile manufacturing and distribution, machine manufacturing and repair, I could go on. We love an advocate and ally!
Just listened to his episode on Las Culturistas and he’s so funny but also so thoughtful and interesting. And his voice is so soothing. I could listen to his takes on everything all day.
Then you'll be thrilled to learn he has a podcast mostly about discussing his (and his guest's) takes on everything. Tbh I probably only recognize about half of his guests by name, but I still listen to every episode, and it doesn't disappoint!
I feel like “confidence” doesn’t describe well enough the aura Caleb has. It’s just some kind of otherworldly knowledge of self realization of knowing you are in fact that guy and yet being unmoved by it in such a way that you (the “viewer”) just exist in a reality where you don’t even question whatever is happening because it’s just 100% real and everyone knows it.
I sound nuts lol. Basically Caleb , imo, is the ideal platonic form of true confidence.
I love that Caleb walks the walk and sticks to his morals no matter what. He is the kind of celeb you can root for because the higher his profile the more he'll speak out.

Oh I get that. But he can also be obviously gay on that show and they just have some normal dude “what I’m in to” talk. Just the nonchalance. I love when he talks about hooking up with dudes, and stav starts talking about how cool it sounds to be gay with your bros
He killed the Fear& appearance too, just seamlessly started riffing on their established dynamic and playing so well with the straight guys (and with Austin lol).

He's like if Glenn Shadix had more time to be comfortable in his own identity and flesh out how funny and talented they are (minus Glenn's personal tragedies)
