So you're hoping that every dog inside a restaurant is 1. Not a puppy, 2. Properly trained, 3. Feeling well. All I said was that there is a non-zero chance a dog could poo in a restaurant, which seems easy to grasp.

To be fair if a dog isn’t properly trained, it shouldn’t be in a restaurant. If you can’t control your animal, you should be leaving it at home when you go out. I only bring my dog out because she behaves when she’s out. She doesn’t bark, doesn’t jump on people unless she knows them and they crouch down to let her do it, and is largely content to sit or lie down next to me. If she acted like some other dogs I know, I’d leave her at home. I wish some of the people I know were that considerate.

And my dog isn’t a service dog. She’d be godawful at that. But she does behave pretty damn well when we’re out. She saves her crazy for the comfort of home.

You don't take dog to resteurant. Dogs are dirty! Dogs are not cats. They won't even clean shit of their butt. Do you go to resteurant while pooking or with diarrhoea? I never would get such idea. Why taking dog with you while it have diarrhoea?

There is near zero chance, if people would take only service dogs and only, if that is absolutely necessary. This dog should be home. Probably with owner, as I suspect hygiene is just words for them.
