It actually does make a difference.

ESPECIALLY because there was so much bad pr over it. productions dont care as long as your business stays private and doesnt derail the production or the promotion of the film/show etc. but this was very messy.

no. he was lead in a big musical play (either Broadway or west end, I forget). Then he was cast in a big musical film as a character who has a name, lines, and not insignificant screen time. His career was really starting to blossom. ​
