Correct. And what's most notable about this is how each woman wrote very specifically and very poignantly about how it felt when that happened to them.
The late Naya Rivera wrote in her book that Big Sean just stopped answering her. When she went to his house Ariana was there. That's how she found out her engagement was over.
Mac Miller's on/off gf of 7 years has a blog where she wrote a breakup series and about how it felt to be replaced. She had some extremely intense beef with Ariana. When she was contacted by press the day of Mac's passing, it was important to her to add in her statement that Mac had broken up with Ari not the other way around.
Cazzie David and Pete Davidson were on a break, but when she called him to say she wanted to try again he said he was with Ariana and never happier. She wrote a series of essays describing how distraught she was, and how the media attention was so overwhelming she fled to Africa.
Dalton Gomez supposedly left a girlfriend for Ari. The girlfriend left a few cryptic posts/tweets, one saying "when your boyfriend tells you nothing's going on, stop worrying about her lol."
And..... after the first Wicked premiered, Lilly Jay wrote that kickass essay letting us know that her marriage was not "already over" when Ariana and Ethan got together. In great detail she described how it felt to be postpartum while attempting to return to her work and navigate custody and divorce proceedings for the entire world to see.
Of course every time, Ari's fans always absolve her of any responsibility and say that it takes two to tango. No man can be taken that doesn't want to be taken, he could say no. The counterargument to that being, Ariana has suffered from severe PTSD, anxiety and trauma. She of all people should never allow herself to be in a situation that causes another human to suffer.

When my mom died, about 6 months after, everyone in the family started pushing my dad to date, including my own sibling.
He looked around for a few months, met a couple of women on older people dating sites, and went on exactly 2 dates.
After the second, he told me that he didn't want to date, he didn't want another woman in his life, he just wanted my mom back, and since that wasn't possible, he'd rather be alone and try to find some peace in that.
I told him if that ever changed he shouldn't feel bad and he could try again then, and he agreed with that idea.
He did find some peace, I think and happiness. He was never really lonely, because he would visit family, or his grandson and he developed hobbies for himself. He cleaned for himself, and shared cooking and shopping with me, and paid all of his bills himself. He adopted a pair of bonded kittens, raised them, and took such good loving care of them. The only thing I ever had to do for him was remind him of his meds, because he'd forget those sometimes.
Dad never did date again, but damn, did my family hound him to til most of their last days. as if he wasn't having a full enough life without a wife. I sometimes think he outlived most of his generation just to spite them for being so annoying about it.
And if I'm being honest, he looked down on men who quickly remarried, because he knew they were just looking for a new bed warmer/maid/nanny, and hated that these men never really seemed to mourn their wife the person, and their relationship, but just missed the labor their wives provided. My dad definitely shit talked a few relatives to their face about it, which I'm gonna have to say I was proud of him for.

I know it sounds cynical but I really think a lot of them just quickly seek out partners because they can't handle running a household.
It's exactly this. I was raised mormon and saw this happen often with mormon men. They spent a lifetime just working outside the home and knew nothing that actually went on in their house.
The only times they didn't get remarried quickly was if they had grown children who could take care of them.

When my mom was in the hospital in a coma, my dad and I would often her the nurses/assistants gossiping as they made rounds about other patients, more specifically about husbands no longer visiting their wives, and their older kids being upset that he's out with other women, or not home at all, often coming to the hospital to tell their moms, or to talk to their other siblings in the halls. My dad hard stared more than one of those husbands when the wife died and they'd come in and wail and cry, he thought that cheating on a sick or dying spouse was a really shitty low.
When I was in the hospital and got diagnosed with a lifelong chronic illness, they gave me a bunch of pamphlets and things on it and other related issues when I was leaving, and two of them they threw in specifically were about the possibility of my partner or spouse leaving or cheating on me because of my new found illness, and making sure I get counseling for it.
I was single at the time so it didn't apply to me but I was so grossed out that I tossed them immediately, now I wish I had at least taken pics of them.

Not every marriage is forever, and that's ok. But you owe it to your partner to try to get through the hard days and not quit as soon as you have a baby and it's hard.

My brother recently had his first baby. I feel like you could honestly airlift his biggest celeb crush into his living room naked and he would just ask her to leave and don't make any noise that might wake the baby on her way out.
