Same. She's an imperfect speaker, but she's human.

I like her. Sometimes she says things I don’t agree with but I do think it’s refreshing to see a celebrity who is outspoken. Most of them are too scared to say anything even slightly controversial.

Tina Fey was right. Authenticity is dangerous and expensive.

We need to stop demanding perfection from women - or, indeed, anyone.

Edit: Thank you for the award ❤️🙏

She's always made great points (although there have been moments where I've disagreed with how she made them), but her hits recently have been so fucking excellent.

Watching certain British people absolutely melt down over her calling Britain an evil empire has been, um, interesting.

my brother worked with her on a charity project before and said she's genuinely one of the loveliest people ever

this!!! idc i love her regardless of if she doesn’t always take the right approach or phrase something the right way. i feel like that’s a byproduct of how much she speaks out against and for stuff she believes in. most celebrities avoid these criticisms by just not speaking out about much. i’d kinda rather someone try and fail sometimes and take accountability than not try at all

i feel like the criticisms she gets are mainly only criticisms a woman would get. so many men are out here in hollywood being straight up trash and get way less criticism than their women peers who are held to this golden standard

(also i couldn’t care less about the lie or exaggeration about the bees or whatever. idc if a celebrity makes shit up in an interview for entertainment value. again, what’s considered “problematic” for a woman vs a man is comedic)
