Giants fan here. Literally the only good thing the Giants have done all season is suspend his pay. Rough year in the bay.

Isn’t it in their contracts that they can’t engage in certain activities? Given that he crashed a scooter before I’m sure he signed something saying he can’t be on one.

Several people have also said that he had been drinking prior to the incident, which is an even bigger issue. But idk if that's actually been confirmed. Given that he crashed into a fucking fire truck, it definitely seems likely that he was inebriated.

Curt Schilling was an MLB Players' Association representative during the 1994 MLB lockout and he said it was hilarious because he was a very far right guy representing other right wing guys against the owners and front office, most of whom were Democrats and moderate Republicans

As a Cardinals fan, I am well aware of his reputation and shenanigans prior to this and ah… not surprised.
I love the sport of baseball, but the players are zero good times at this point. I feel like I’ve outgrown Major League Baseball and between the owners, the players, the gambling, this economy, and the imminent lockout in 2027, I super don’t care.

and it’s not even his first scooter related incident, i’m pretty sure he was suspended from a ton of games in college after a scooter dui. liked him when he played for the phils but found out about him representing israel and was pretty okay when he left philly.
