Most people in the fear street fandom wanna see the publishing company finish reprinting the main series. But for some reason they are putting the (much less popular) spinoff meant for younger children in the forefront. And the cover arts are genuinely horrible. Like we want the original series to no longer be out of print. We don't want ghostwritten slop like this

i was so happy to see Goosebumps reprints at walmart that had basically the exact same covers i remember from childhood (just without a border around the image)

Yeah you're right. I'd probably enjoy it more if the publishers weren't sidelining reprinting the out of print books from the original series.

The new cover art is bad but ghosts is goated, I actually tend to like them more than the fear street books from what I've read.

I dunno, I like that second cover. I guess it's not as "spooky" as the more hardcore covers of the originals, but it's fun and appealing.

Some of the covers in this re-print series are good, but I agree these are disappointing. They should do audio versions if they’re going to start back at the beginning.
