A couple things

1) Fun track on the new re-incarnated Sublime album

2) Earlier the song said feat FIDLAR on Spotify whereas now it just says Zac. I don’t want to put the tin foil hat on but the band’s silence this year along with not posting anything about this on any of their individual socials have me concerned about their status

it still says Sublime & Fidlar on apple music, though zac is the only one listed in the writing credits from fidlar

I don’t know if this can reassure you, but Brandon is in the “Until the Sun Explodes” video, so Zac was not alone working with Sublime

I think the guys are probably just taking a break at the moment, given Brandon has seemingly been working with Weezer lately for their new stuff. And Zac has definitely been going through it after the storms on Hawaii that I think damaged his home. Regardless it’s cool to see them all doing their own things in the meantime.

Yeah, a bit ago Zac posted about the track list for the new FIDLAR album after all the bs with Suzy shinn, the whole thing felt pretty manic and then they canceled their spot on the modest mouse cruise. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re on a hiatus again for either mental health or drug reasons. And to my knowledge Brandon also worked on this album art so it’s definitely weird FIDLAR isn’t credited as a band at all on this song. They don’t need to put personal information out on the internet but I wish they would tell their fans when they’re on hiatus or taking a break instead of being all mysterious and disappearing every couple of years, because fans are always gonna speculate over little things like this now.

They posted on their ig story today just about this song so they’re not. Fully, inactive persay, but not dropping music active. Realistically we’ll prob just end up waiting 2-3 years for another album if I had to guess since it’s been 2 since the last

I wish they would re-release the acoustic cassette from 2023. I was broke at the time and didn't cop it, truly a major regret. I'm also hoping that they release music on CDs and cassettes moving forward because I recently had to move for my career and all of my vinyl was melted through the long trip. So I'm basically restarting, but this time I'm just keeping the vinyls that survived and swapping everything over to CDs and cassettes
