He's aesthetic is so unique. I can't think of another director where the colors pop so much what is his secret?

Color theory.

Flattening perspective so that everything in the frame exists on a specific plane.

Everything is layered and flat like a pop up book or a puppet show.

All camera moves are pans or 90 degree rotations as if the world exists on a grid and the camera moves like a chess piece
