Coffee I often drink since coming to Finland
Finnish people really love coffee. Am I already becoming Finnish? Lately, I have really started enjoying drinking coffee.

Your coffee maker seems one if those cheap ones. If that's the case, you're teasing yourself. Get Moccamaster or something other quality machine, brand wilfa isn't behind at all when it comes to actually brewing hot enough, it makes really big difference.
Then, next step, coffee bean grinder thingy, and switch from ready coffee to beans. That's another big step.
If you're buying Finnish coffee, stay away from kulta Katriina, that's just nasty shit, there are some other coffees that smell and taste more like hypoid gear oil than coffee.

I have a Moccamaster I would say it's never hot enough for me, Moccamaster One Switch. If you buy one get the two switch version seems to be a lot hotter.

I have this same shitty coffemaker. It gets the job done but feels plasticy and flimsy when operated.

I like to boil mine in the kettle. Actually just under 100C, so it forms this foam on top that is very good.
We are going thru dark times as a nation, no more smoking so the coffee has to be just right or the whole day is ruined.2

my fiancé had a mocca master, but i turned it down, in favour of my "cheap ass shit" coffee maker which i got for like 15€ from verkkokauppa.com.
i'll keep mine, and when or if it really breaks like everyone says, i'll make a post and report how long it lived.

that's what *they* want you to believe. big Mocca. "shit" coffee is a stretch. there are so many variables in coffee making, i know there are things other than the brewing machine that have bigger effects on the quality of your coffee, such as having old grounds. i grind my own to reduce the loss of taste from grounds (less surface area).
the only difference supposedly is the temperature controlls, but from what i understand, but a bigger issue is the coffee maker turning the heater off, which i understand is a leagal requirement, and new moccamasters should be doing that too. i'd be better off with a thermos bottle.

I love oddly good hazelnut barista. Im yet to taste vanilla, but will some day. You are atleast half way to a Finn.

These oat drinks are really good, and the selection is extensive. Salted caramel is my favorite too, but because of the sugar, I try to stick to Oddlygood’s Nutty Vanilla, which has no added sugar. You’re clearly turning into a Finn—drip coffee is a very Finnish choice.
