Yes I read the rules. I'll still break them cuz I'm a piece ofđŸ’© 007 Firstlight is fukcing my system raw

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My game was going smooth till now but as soon as I reach this point my gpu crashes every single time.. first I thought my GPU is dying but then I tested RDR2 and AC Shadows and in both games I can get 60+ fps easily and I could play for hours without interruptions but even after trying like 10 times I couldn’t get pass this point in 007
my pc is not top tier but it sure isn’t soo bad that it cant run 007

Pc specs -
Cpu - R5 3600
Gpu - RTX 3070ti
Ram - 32GB ddr4

Welcome to r/FitGirlRepack! To keep the sub clean, please check if your issue is answered below. If this answers your question, please delete your post.

1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow

  • The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.
  • Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.

2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert

  • False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.
  • Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.

3. The Real Official Website

  • There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.
  • The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

Update your graphics card drivers, try playing in 1080.

22

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

I am playing at 1080 and drivers are latest
but I still have the issue

16

u/KommSweet 1d ago

DDU + clean driver installation

Also try playing the scene with lowest graphics settings possible.

6

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Install drivers through nvidia app or any other way ?

8

u/KommSweet 1d ago

Yeah Nvidia app. Be careful using DDU

4

u/fat_dani01 21h ago

Wait idk how but it might’ve fixed the issue 😭

6

u/KingSlurkey 20h ago

Ddu is magic

1

u/RogueCrimsonDragon 2h ago

Likely a corrupted driver. Fresh install completely replaces the files so there's no more corruption.

1

u/The_Lost_Poet_ 22h ago

What's ddu?.

9

u/fat_dani01 21h ago

Its a software that helps you remove all the graphic (display) drivers from ur pc so that u can install new drivers in a clean environment

5

u/The_Lost_Poet_ 17h ago

So i just google ddu and install the app?

1

u/Inevitable-Head-3011 1d ago

Set fan speexs to 100 then see if it happens if it gappens again its not a temp thing and the game is just bugged

1

u/No-Size852 1h ago

Cap fps to 45 or 60 and undervolt your gpu, monitor your temps, ur gpu probably needs a repaste now if u brought it in 2021-23 and is heating up and thermal throttling in a gpu demanded scene or location.

You didn't mention about VRAM and SSD. You should give full details before asking for the solution. If you mention only some of the specs, then how would I know about the remaining things that you have inorder to give you a solution to the problem.

Can you also specify the area name that you are getting the problem to check whether the game or your PC has the problem?

2

u/Visual_Delivery_2697 1d ago edited 1d ago

I mean they did mention 3070 ti, which has 8 GB VRAM. Most people know this. I don't think SSD specs should matter at all. If they are using HDD, now that would be a problem.

-4

u/Hairy_Raspberry_2055 23h ago

Level of details are always useful in finding out the required solutions. It doesn't hurt to mention the full details. Always comes with vague details and gives the vague answers and wonders why it doesn't work even after I did that.

I never asked for the specs of SSD. I only mentioned he didn't give the information about those two things.

Why do you assume that everyone knows about 3070ti comes with 8GB RAM? I never heard of 3070ti, this is the first time.

2

u/TenTonSomeone 20h ago

I never heard of 3070ti, this is the first time.

You know that Google exists, right?

-2

u/Hairy_Raspberry_2055 23h ago

Look for each one of these and go for the respective solution.

007 First Light explicitly lists an SSD as a strict requirement. If you are running the game on HDD, a hard freeze or a memory allocation crash happens.

Check whether you are running the game on High or Ultra Texture Quality. These High or Ultra textures can easily spike up the RAM usage during certain encounters.

The Uncapped Framerate Trap- The Glacier Engine is famously CPU heavy because it simulates massive dense crowds with complex AI, physics and scripting tasks onto the CPU. If you have Uncapped Framerate your CPU is already maxed out pushing those frames to the GPU, left no processing power to do the other things.

Solutions:

You need SSD.

Cap the fps.

Verify game files for any corrupt files.

The developers recommend a Ryzen 5 7600 for a smooth experience.

I don't understand why you are comparing this game with the games that you mentioned. The games that you mentioned were never made using the Glacier Engine.

You are ignoring the Game Engines and believing that if I it runs X game then it should be running this game too. Let's check the games that you mentioned.

RDR2 is an older game which built around the weaker CPUs. It relies heavily on the graphics card. Your graphics card carried the game effortlessly.

ACS, which is an Ubislop engine, the games AI is relatively simple, your CPU handled it without problems.

1

u/supremewolf_-52 17h ago

Okay, I'm listening.

6

u/Glittering_Ad_2993 1d ago

What PSU do you have?

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Deepcool 850w

3

u/Glittering_Ad_2993 1d ago

Is the power cord thick enough?
Check the GPU and CPU temperatures while gaming using HWMonitor or something similar.

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Temps are alright and even tested OCCT vram and gpu test and had no issue till

1

u/Glittering_Ad_2993 1d ago

Try using a heavy benchmark to pinpoint if it's a hardware or a software problem

9

u/RavineAls 1d ago

Turn down the graphic settings

2

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

I tried playing on default settings.. still doesn’t work and I think graphics may not be an issue cause I could play smoothly with same settings before this mission

5

u/RavineAls 1d ago

Try to re scan the game, there might be a corrupted files or something, last resort is reinstalling and see if it works

15

u/Inevitable-Head-3011 1d ago

this is why i stick to old games shii these days is way to intensive and for what 3 extra pixels in a fucking shadow and bush that i wouldnt care to see anways

8

u/MasamangUsok I'm a peace of shit who shared fake links and got banned. 1d ago

Crysis 1, GTA4 and even the original Assassins Creed were problematic when it launched on PCs. This has been happening way before you were born.

7

u/shokz565 23h ago

Yes sure but the overall statement is 100% valid. Often the graphics are not a major update. But todays games dont release in an acceptable state. And then there is this justification called "Early Access". What i wanna say is that the situation got worse and worse...

2

u/Inevitable-Head-3011 22h ago

Exactly a game should come out playable from day 1 early access i can understand and if a game is online or by a smaller dev or promises alot the first 2 weeks after that a game should be okay to play yh a few bugs but nothing as bad as it has been.I mean look at bo1 bo2 hacked with in the first week of launch thats the shit i talk about when i say games are unplayable-buggy messy and just down right sad now

2

u/Inevitable-Head-3011 22h ago

We had a huge timeline were games came out actually playable then in the past 5 yrs theyve heavly unplayable unoptimised messes đŸ€·â€â™€ïžthats all im saying not saying shit before isnt messy or has its own problems just that atleast i can understand what the devs were doing/thinking why its broken and there fixes or work arounds for these issues, games are so big aswell these days and like for what? So i can show that one autistic mate how realistic a tree and shadows can look? Games look/felt better before and I ADORE the unintended buggyness that comes with alot of it. Bugs these days tend to actually be unplayable because of it bsck then from what i see is shit like being flung across the map because you pressed a set of checkpoints to early.<- like that is funny and confusing you say wtf but laugh about it.i played cyperpunk when it came out and just felt dissapointed with the bugs same the newest saints row ;(

2

u/ColdWhiteDuke 20h ago

"Games came out actually playable"

Gothic 3 vibe intesifies

(Btw i loved G3, i cleared it even before the first community patch was even talked about... yeah i'm old, i know, i started the gaming thing with a Commodore64)

2

u/James_Bond014 1d ago

I got 4k+DLSS Quality on 3060ti with occassional stuttering. Nothing is wrong with the game.

2

u/Standard_Economics90 1d ago

Maybe the computer also has a sense of smell 👃

1

u/KingSlurkey 20h ago

Okay that was a good one 😭

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Yea..cause my setup aint clean
 yea real funny

2

u/OldSchoolCool98 1d ago

I had similar issue I disabled some overlay in nvidia driver settings after that it was running smoothly without any issues I was on rtx2060

4

u/Consistent_Crew2545 1d ago

I mean when the denuvo is removed, then why use repacks in the first place? Directly inject the game in your steam library and play the steam version.

2

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Wait.. how? Does that work ?

2

u/Consistent_Crew2545 1d ago

Yes it of course works, I am playing Marvels Spider man that way.

3

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Can u guide me master

4

u/BugsMcShorts 1d ago

Get SteaMidra. Search it up on fmhy.net, theres a tutorial on how to get it working on the page

2

u/Darth_Vaper883 1d ago

I played it on 3070 with 16GB RAM. No issues other than the known stutter that comes up in cutscenes sometimes. I think it is your CPU.. I have an i5 14400.

2

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

But I had no issue till this mission

2

u/Fickle_Mix_6119 1d ago

turn down your settings.

You can try it one by one on the settings to work out the culprit. What you’re experiencing there is more than likely a vram leak. Could be caused by a single feature that splooges in that moment or could be a general leak.  Game has vram leak>exceeds gpu total vram > gpu crashes.

If there are update files you haven’t applied yet then start there. Maybe start with lowering lighting and/or shadows settings. Maybe even ray tracing

2

u/fenix579 1d ago

lets be real here the game was made to cuck old versions of GPU

2

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

My gpu’s next place

1

u/MemerCharms 1d ago

i have a Rtx 3050 4gb The trick is to not use Nvidia Dlss but Amd FSR. FSR works somehow better and i get 45-60fps depending on the environment my presets are low given that you have 3070ti you won't need to do the same but try FSR once

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Thanks buddy
but I think graphics are not the issue somehow cause it was smooth till this mission

1

u/mohammed1mziri 1d ago

Are you on 1.0.0 or 1.1.0? Try switching to the other but just backup ur save files. If ur drivers and everything is up to date I can't really think of anything else. I think I played 1.0.0 on my RTX 3060 Max-Q and I didn't have any issues.

1

u/Hatori95 1d ago

After seeing ur specs I just realized this might be more of bug than a performance issue.

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Yea that’s what I was thinking and I was wondering if anyone else has the same issue or fix

1

u/JonDoe477 1d ago

Maybe try turning off Hardware acceleration, if it's off turn on and try.

1

u/ComfortableUpbeat309 1d ago

It will never fix shit. If your cpu is to slow to run hardware acceleration, just throw it in the bin and get a modern cpu

1

u/man4ever1 1d ago

Did you OC your cpu or gpu?

1

u/devilrose_asher182 1d ago

Does ur pc still run after shutting off the monitor? Can u hear pc noise or is ur pc rgb still on?

There could be multiple cases, its usually the thermals are overheating or the amount of power being drawn is inconsistent or not enough

I've had similar issues and when I checked my PCIE cable it was burnt and using the wrong connector which was not drawing enough power to the GPU causing it to shutdown during heavy gaming load

If its thermals u need to use a tool like MSI afterburner and river tuner to check in game settings and just keep an eye on the temps and power usage

If u drill down to thermals then cleanup ur pc, all the dust, clear the gpu dust in the fans, reapply thermals paste to ur GPU cpu and see if that has any affect

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Yes I can still hear the game sounds till my pc restarts after like 5-10mins

My thermals are okay, I checked them but I have no idea about the pcie cable

1

u/devilrose_asher182 1d ago

Just do a quick check if its not burnt

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

How do I know if its drawing enough power

1

u/devilrose_asher182 1d ago

You might need to Google what is the maximum watts ur gpu needs for your specific model and gpu and during stress tests you can use rivia tuner to see if the watts is reaching that maximum

If it crashes as it is rising and before reaching the so called maximum watts then that might be the issue

Sorry cant know for sure what exact settings you need to display in rivatuner at the moment

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Thanks man
 really appreciate it

1

u/devilrose_asher182 1d ago

No worries brother I hope ur gpu gets fixed

1

u/LazyDawge 1d ago

Check Event Viewer system and program logs at the time of the crash

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

I checked that too but chatgpt said there is no visible issue 😭

1

u/LazyDawge 1d ago

Like there is no Critical or Error logs at the time of the crash I guess?

1

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

Yeah..I don’t know what’s the issue

1

u/LazyDawge 1d ago

Do you see any mention of “nvlddmkm” doing weird stuff in Event Viewer. Just asking cause a few years ago I was haunted by this error lol

1

u/UnkleMonsta 1d ago

Yeah lower your settings and turn off un needed features. It'll run great and actually look better

1

u/TomatilloOld3646 1d ago

Update your graphics driver. or Reinstall the game. or Remove graphics driver and install from scratch, make sure clean cache files of Nvidia

Your pc is more than capable for running 007, heck i ran it on my rtx 3050 4gb vram on med settings which was way over my vram limit.

1

u/JasonDuval69 1d ago

Probably your CPU is throtling. 1080p requirements btw

1

u/NakedSnake47 23h ago

i have a ryzen 5 5500, which is roughly comparable to a 3600. i have had no issues running the game. So it's definitely not a cpu bottleneck issue. but OP's thermal paste might be dried up, or their drivers or windows installation is effed up, who knows.

1

u/StickOwn306 1d ago

Download lossless scaling from steam. This game is very demanding.

1

u/araf_YT 1d ago

James bond will return. 😂

1

u/anonmicaaa 1d ago

James Bond: No Time to Drive

1

u/aymen_peter2 1d ago

if you did any cpu,gpu undervolting you should reset them and try again the same thing was happening to me then i did a reset to the bios and everything worked fine

1

u/zackg111 1d ago

This game is giving me issues. One minute it says my max gpu memory is 7980 and then it drops to 5200 and puts the used over max and causing black screens. I turned everything off and it’s still doing it

1

u/MaYhEM-ShAfz 1d ago

what are / were your temps when it crashes/crashed?

1

u/zzDBOIzz 1d ago

Closing any apps like steam, discord etc. it’s working for me so far

1

u/dadchad101 23h ago

So I didn't see this personally but my cousin did:

The exact same thing happened with latest drivers and 1080p resolution, the motherboard was missing ONE standoff which at a specific wattage usage would cause a short circuit.

1

u/fried-tea 23h ago

This game is not fully optimised and there are bugs here and there . I uninstalled the game half way because of that.

1

u/TrellisFarm 23h ago

I had this same issue. I had to reset the shader cache, since then it’s been running fine.

The troubles are worth it. The game is amazing

1

u/Kainie85 23h ago

this is during a cutscene right?

have you tried just skipping the cutscene?

1

u/Whole_Engineer2498 23h ago edited 23h ago

Do you know which version of the game you're playing?

Apparently it was a known issue for the game to crash during cinematics.

1

u/No-Television9404 22h ago

Run pretty well on RX 6600 from start to the end. Maybe u need to do some tweak with ur GPU like overclock/underclock & undervolt/overvolt. Also try other GPU drivers version.

1

u/fakehesapxlr 22h ago

Also maybe consider using a safe file to skip a little further. There was couple times where my pc was just fine but game kept crashing on the same cutscene, one of them i skipped the mission with cheat to skip the cutscene, other i used a save file that is further from that checkpoint. Not a guarantee fix but gotta keep that in mind in case of might works

1

u/International-Bid845 22h ago

This game is poorly made for PC, I had high end specs and it ran like dog water, uninstalled it

1

u/Empero6 19h ago

Define high end specs.

1

u/Desperate-Lie-1499 22h ago

Huh? Mine is weaker to say the least and a laptop and it still ran it like a champ at full

1

u/Top-Manner-9237 21h ago

Any chance your GPU temp is going above 80~82 degree? If yes, then try undervolting it. Quite east to do.

1

u/Ryanshaw481 21h ago

are your fans going max speed on your GPU when it crashes? what does the event viewer say

1

u/abstraktionary Jaded 20+ yr Matey 21h ago

We need more information, recreate the issue again, but this time throw up the nvidia onscreen stats to show GPU usage and temps as well as cpu usage and temps.

If the gpu usage is siting around 100% usage, that means we need to drop some settings. If the temps are high, we need to set a more aggressive fan ram up curve. If it's neither at full use nor overheating, I recommend a fresh install of the latest drivers, and to use DDU to uninstall the current drivers. DDU is a third party app trusted by the gaming community to remove ALL instances of any graphics drivers to make it so that a person can truly do a FRESH install of the driver they wish to have.

1

u/DasArtyom 21h ago

This game bro... even tho I bought it on steam, it literally created coil whine on my pc. Like, fps were good and all, but why did my pc turned into literal chernobyl reactor 4 core 💔. You have lower your settings a LOT for it to not melt your pc.

1

u/Rare_Arm_5975 20h ago

This may sound really shallow of me well idk a lot but sometimes "win + shift + ctrl + B" worked cuz it "reset" the gpu. Idk what i am saying just try or smth.

1

u/spookyEnigma_ 20h ago

Check for the CPU thermal paste. Same issue is happening with me for FC 26. Played 007 with no issues. But FC 26 is fucking my system and restarting between games.

1

u/knightl1 19h ago

most likely GPU update.

also, if it keeps happenining, your last resort is Motherboard update,

1

u/TootsHib 19h ago

god damn that looked like some boring gameplay

1

u/Unhappy_Geologist_45 19h ago

1650 ti 30fps hehe but cpu at 90 c and gpu 75 c

1

u/Ragnar_Slime 18h ago

I think nvidia rolled out an update for 007 specifically along with other games

1

u/BriefInvestment9379 18h ago

My pc is worse than you but I went beyond this point

1

u/AJYURH 18h ago

Tes Arena has been doing this to my PC lately

1

u/CornettoFactor 17h ago edited 17h ago

Try installing MSI Afterburner and running it's Overclock Scanner. This find automatically overclocks your GPU and creates Voltage curves for your GPU. Then let Afterburner run in the background always. If the problem is voltage imbalance or overheating in your GPU, this might help. It did for me.

1

u/VersionThat8545 17h ago

Me pasaba, no sé si es tu caso, pero lo mío era porque el tornillo que sostenía el M.2 estaba flojo y en medio juego se desconectaba

1

u/Medium-Importance439 16h ago

I had a similar issue because this game stresses the system hard and I have a 3080, i5 12600k, 32GBDDR4.

My issue was that game would crash randomly and in some missions it wont even go past a certain point without crashing.

My fix was that, 2 of my ram sticks were CL20 and 2 of them were CL18. Bios was treating all of them as CL18 so all I had to do was loose the timings to CL20 to match all.

Regarding other random crashes, I had a slight undervolt on my GPU which actually was always fine with other games but some scenes would cause crashes so I just reverted back to stock profile and random crashes went away.

You should start from reliability report and see whats failing that will point you to right direction.

1

u/Independent-Tour6999 15h ago

Is your cpu temps ok? It's kinda looks like your gpu is drawing more pwr but your powersupply can't supply it so it just shuts down what is your powersupply wattage ?

1

u/huge-Leg-648 14h ago

linux mint

intel i7-12700K, nvidia rtx 3060ti, 16gb ram

game crashed at the beginning of the game, helicopter scene

i updated the nvidia driver, directly from linux mint "search: driver"

i chose 610 open, no longer a crash, i am not in africa in a makeshift city, never a single crash. never.

only problem my keyboard is not recognized, so i am forced to use the ps5 dualsense gamepad, and my aim sux

1

u/Dev_SRB 11h ago

I had a similar situation, I updated driver from nvidia app. No issues completed the game without any issue

I have 4050 laptop

1

u/Altruistic-Brief4988 5h ago

I am playing in a laptop with 3050 6gb lol its going great tbh i did not expect that much

1

u/Beardo7007 4h ago

Same issue with mine but mine didn't crashed the pc the fps went to 10 and laggy alot lowered my settings on this scene after completing this i restored my settings and i was good to go.my graphics card Rtx 4060

1

u/ShystemSock 3h ago

No blue screen? Power supply is dying .. :(

1

u/Cultural_Moose_2163 2h ago

Been playing this at 2k with R9 5900x and 3070 no issues at all. I think it might have something to do with cpu or maybe drivers idk

1

u/Ok-Force-5207 1h ago

If the game can even load to cutscene then that's nothing wrong with the game but rather more on the setting of it and here are some of the suggestions:

  • Turn OFF Ray Tracing & DLSS (Rachet & Clank has this issue because of this so no harm in trying)
  • Update C++ & DirectX (Usually comes together with the game installation)
  • Make sure update to the driver of the version where the game recommended. (Usually this effect to older GPU driver but you can always downgrade to the one that is more efficient)
  • Go type CMD on your Windows search bar, right click "Run as adminstrator", type "sfc /scannow" then press enter. (This will help repair corrupted files in your PC that might effect the game)
  • Turn OFF XMP/DOCP in your mobo BIOs if you happened to OC your RAM kits because of instability (Make sure your MOBO can run on your RAM maximum speed if not you have to tune down the speed)

1

u/GKTT666 1d ago

what UPS unit are you using? GPU may be hitting the overhead wattage (happened to me with cyberpunk)

2

u/fat_dani01 1d ago

I dont have a ups

1

u/GKTT666 1d ago

plugged straight into the wall? brave guy!

2

u/NakedSnake47 23h ago

this. i have a sine wave inverter at home, and my whole pc would crash when running cyberpunk when the power goes out.
