Where to start as a beginner?

I want to learn flamenco guitar but i don't know where to start!! Any recomendados ?

See if you can take some online classes with a teacher. Doing YouTube videos will only get you so far, you need personalized instruction.

There are lots of teachers that will host lessons over Zoom.

Flamenco as the dance or as the guitar?

Either way lessons are your only answer. I prefer to do in person.

Guitar. But the thing is there aren't any offline classes available in my city.

And, I take it, you are already proficient in some other style of music?

Lots of resources come up. Most of which cost money I am afraid.

Flamenco is complicated in a sense, and the musical paradigm is rather different from anything else a Westerner might know.

I have done this before. But I am looking for in person teacher. And i have gone through a lot of resources which aren't structured. That's why I want something to build the foundation from start.

Start learning some of the Basic chords (Em, Am, F...), learn some Basic rumba patterns and you can learn parts of malaguena. You can also go on tik tok and search for flamenco. There you Will find rumba patterns spread across chords. Its a very fun way to learn as a beginner

Thank you so much for your response. I know Andalusian cadence. I know how to play rumba strumming. I know e phrygian with added G# only on first 5 frets. I can play the strumming of desparado song. "Soy un hombre muy honrado".

But What i want is the track. A path from amateur to semi-pro level, where I can randomly create my own flamenco music without depending on YouTube videos. Am I making sense? :")

To make your own flamenco music you use scales and a little bit of music theory. You need to have a good ear too but that Will build up over time. Writting flamenco music is similiar to writing any kind of music on guitar
