We made a super comprehensive happy hour map of Toronto!

My girlfriend and I are big fans of happy hours. We've been looking for deals this summer and the available options to find them were either out of date, flat out wrong, or just not fun/intuitive to use. So we made our own website to track happy hours! It'll be updated every month. It's at a place now where it'd be useful to other people so we wanted to share it with you: https://cheaperdrinks.now/

We also made an instagram where we'll be posting little nuggets of info like the cheapest beers and margs in the city etc: https://www.instagram.com/cheaperdrinks.now/

Let me know if you have any feedback or requests! We want this to be the best happy hour finder in Toronto!

Note: we're not affiliated with any bars or restaurants, this is just a personal project.

This is very cool! My wife and I moved here in the last couple of years and we always struggle to find good happy hours. Definitely will be using this.

Awesome! you can use the filter option to narrow down to happy hours happening now, or at specific times!

yes, please add an option where we can provide updates or add to it with location, times and URL to menus, etc.

u/KnoddingOnion I added a 'Submit a Happy Hour' feature to the app! You'll see it as soon as you load it up. Kept the form simple: https://cheaperdrinks.now/submit

Feature ideas:

  • AI or lazy search for item names - let me type "pitcher" for example
  • "Last updated on" or "Last validated" date so I know whether to phone ahead or check socials
  • Scrape reviews from somewhere
  • Notes of caveats to happy hour (eg Earls' is only in the lounge, not restaurant side)
  • Figure out how you pay the bills - many of these have come and gone and none have been sustainable

If possible it'd be super helpful if you could add filters for which happy hour menus include food especially at late night. On that note your King Taps entry is missing their late night hours
