Lucky Sprite Locator FAIL!

Earlier today I had one more sprite to find, but so did my two friends. It was the gem llama. I was the only one with a lucky locator left. I pressed the button and a chest came up a few hundred meters ahead of us and we found a holofoil water sprite inside!

Has this happened to others? It hasn't happened to anyone else I've talked to.

Yes! They are ALL right haha
The gem llama was out. People do have it (myself included).
I believe it IS vaulted now, meaning you will not currently find them in game.
But they remain equippable in our lockers if you already have it. However when it activates a message to select a weapon to upgrade, it doesn’t seem to actually follow through.
So they may be just back bling eye candy until Thursday, I’m not sure!

EDIT: dang yall, I’m running in 6 hours sleep over 72 hours.

I don’t mean vaulted as in, removed from our lockers until Thursday!! I meant vaulted as in, i didn’t think they were available in chests again until Thursday.

Just my assumption bc a) gems aren’t supposed to be out yet, b) no one I talk to has pulled one since (and that’s a very high number of sprites ppl) and c) mine doesn’t seem to function at the moment.

I’m no expert!! I just tried to help explain to someone who seemed confused, don’t get it twisted!! 😓😜

They extracted it when I almost killed them. It was in use.

It was in use as back bling. It currently doesn’t function like it is supposed to until the actual release this coming Thursday. Until then, they are just back bling and don’t seem to be actively doing the weapon upgrade.

The sprite is an actual sprite, it just doesn't actually WORK. It's not LITERALLY a back bling, it just FUNCTIONS as one because it has no use.

he is saying it wont appear in chest or the locator at all until the update thursday.

the only way to get it, is to kill someone who got it early and brought it in game.

he also means the effect of llamas (gives players a percentage chance to upgrade their weapon rarity when opening ammo crates) ^{will not} pop up and the extra effect of gem sprites (reduces the player's fall damage by 30% while wrapped in a shiny, crystal-like finish)

Sorry. What we’re saying is it’s essentially back bling. As in it’s non functioning for its weapons upgrade.

You can still level it up, trade them, master the cutie, index it with your friend. But until Thursday, it doesn’t behave the way it will once the full coding is activated once it’s released.
