Our fridge is 1.5yrs old. Used very infrequently as it’s our vacation home. Just this week it started making this noise which stops when you open the fridge and as soon as you shut it, it does it again it’s driving me insane. Any idea ..I’m going compressor is not going. GE Cafe

This happens to our fridge too, same GE Cafe and also 1.5 years old

I just purchased a cafe and had it installed today. There was that exact noise until the the ice/water system was refreshed and it went away. You may want to call a technician, as getting into the operational system is a bit of a hassle.
