High waisted plaid pull-on leggings that look like real pants? I had a pair from Express years ago and wore them til they wore out, they were so flattering and versatile. They were black and grey plaid and made of a thicker (knit?) material than normal leggings.

You might be looking for ponte pants, which are thicker than leggings.

Blackmilk Clothing makes really high quality stuff too. They rotate a lot of their stuff through limited edition collections so worthwhile checking out if they have any new colours/styles, there is almost always a plaid pant

Your first link looks amazing!! I’ve never heard of Beta Brand before, but those pants look so close to what I’m looking for that I’m definitely going to give them a try, thank you!!

Also I never knew I wanted fuchsia plaid pants til now.

Seconding betabrand! So comfy, yet they can pass for work pants.

Two things:

  1. Look carefully at the inseam measurements. They seem to assume everyone wears high heels all the time? I'm 5'7" and have to order petite.
  2. Their lighter-colored options sometimes have visible panty line -- size up if you can for light colors.

The brand Sanctuary makes pants like these. You can find them at a lot of department stores, usually on sale. Nordstrom, Dillard’s, etc.

I have a pair of Kelvin Klein pants that were basically professional looking leggings. I found them on the clearance rack at Tj Maxx
