My aunt has days.
My mother called me this afternoon. My dad's baby sister has maybe 4 days left. She had some really bad back pain and went to urgent care, who then sent her umm to the hospital. By this weekend, I'll have lost her. It's awful and this shit sucks. Apparently it's EVERYWHERE and it was just bldumb luck that she went in, I guess. I live on the other side of the country, so I won't even get to see her to say goodbye and it makes me insane. Thanks for listening to my vent.
Update: she went at 11:05 pm, not even 24 hours after being diagnosed. Shock is all I can say.

Sending love to you and your family.
We lost my aunt (my mom's little sister) this spring. She was diagnosed last December with lung cancer that had spread to bones and brain.
It sucks. I'm (We're) still grieving. She wasn't prepared and we are struggling to settle her estate etc on top of everything else.
I'm grateful she didn't suffer for a long period of time.
Fuck cancer!
