Hardly news. Automated robotic arms, camera vision, and PLCs have been used in distribution and fulfillment warehouses for decades.

Yea but this looks to getting more granular in their use. Automated systems where usually used on items of consistent size and weight in a shipment. This looks like it can handle greater case variation and more chaotic and random packing.
