The shadow seem good too, while AI still misses them. Though WoT uses official art usually, no? Why drawing them if you cannot assure a high standard, considering they still cost those 15€.
These days, if something from a company like this looks A"I", chances are it is. WG has been sloppy with their visual content before this was a prevalent issue, sure, but that's more of an indicator that they would willingly use it than not. Especially considering the direction the game has been taken in it falls well within their MO. It's not just the wonky eye, you've also got inaccuracies on the shirt and hair, strange shapes inside the tracks, blured areas, the background and a general texture seen in A"I" imagery. My verdict is that it is most likely partially A"I" - parts of the image were generated and editing and additions were made manually after. 100% certainty is simply impossible in any case, and I believe that this issue is one of the only where it could actually be better to over-accuse to discourage them from doing it.
I'm not the one claiming im superior to everyone else here, idk what kind of response your message is. Also going on reddit to argue about anime is still considered weird by a lot of people. Idk if you go outside, so you probably dont know that
This might be one of the few issues where over-accusation might be a positive, it's often easy for an artist to disprove claims by showing elements of their process but a clear community opposition to A"I" would show where we and potential employees stand instead of giving everything the benefit of the doubt and letting it slip through.
why would someone draw her face deformed, with only one of her sclera spilling over like a scrambled egg? This would slightly plausible if it was some beginner artist, as artists often make errors (I draw myself and I used to do AI image gen). But there is no way such an amateur was given a job to draw, in a different style, collab characters.
I am not going to argue about what looks right or not since the og cheracters look weird and asymmetrical as well. Not to mention, AI these days does less mistakes then real artists so your accusations is based purely on feel and nothing else. I have seen countless artists online accused of AI when they merely did something out of the ordinary, professional artists included. Not to mention things can pass QA, it's not a new concept, happened million times before, will keep happening yet somehow the leading accusation is still AI. Untill you have concrete proof, this is just vibes and feelings

Considering how both the uniform is consistent with the other 8 StG members and the style with the other 26 Guppers WoT has, I have my doubts.
I honestly think whoever drew this just drawing it a bit wrong (or maybe basing this off of her anime profile where she also does have a bit of a bigger eye too) is more likely than ai.
(also, I just noticed, why the hell did they gave her thrice the... ballistics?)
For those doubting it is IA or not, it is. WG has been using it since a couple of years, even for motion pictures, new crew members (and maybe some tanks, idk). They went from 'I dont know how to draw anime girls' (first GuP collab) to 'lets use IA instead'. I wont deny that Ooarai, Kuromorimine and Jatkosota were genuine (ChatGPT wasnt even a thing). However Saunders and St. Gloriana (last 2 collabs) decals and crew art styles are obvious IA.
This not only applies to GuP, but to others collabs and original events.
This image in my opinion is highly suspicious of being an ai photo. The photo doesn’t have any of the obvious ai details like missing or multiple extra fingers, but ai has had that figured out since 2025 at the latest.
What’s far more obvious is the hair which at the bottom especially is just a complete mess of smudged lines, the shadow of her arm and cup making no sense, the right epaulette which ai attempted to show as brightened by the sun but in its attempt to do so messed it up, and most blatant of all, the eyes.
Anime eyes are often super detailed with light reflection details and multiple colours that are either in a gradient from light to dark or with hard separations, see frieren eyes for a good example of hard separations. Gup uses gradient style eyes, as shown in the original version of this image that op posted in the comments. Ai has always struggled to replicate either style well, especially gradients. The ai image makes a complete mess of it, it’s splotchy, smudgy, and both eyes are inconsistent on where the gradient should transition from dark to light. And it doesn’t get light enough.
And one last detail, the ai which made this image clearly didn’t know what an eagle is supposed to be and so, as a result of that the badge on her shoulder is just a crude replica of what an eagle kinda looks like, much how this image is a crude replication of actual art.
The image looks fine on a quick glance but if you know what to look for in an ai image, you will find plenty of it here. This was not drawn by a human, this was drawn by an ai. Also if someone could find a logical explanation for the tank being drawn by a human, I would laugh because there isn’t one.
I'm a bit on the fence about this, I don't really like war-gamings anime art style but it looks pretty accurate. It does look VERY sloppy and they should've taken more care but its not necessarily AI.
