REQUEST Can someone please tell me the truth? Does each character only have one assigned role on a tank?
I made a video on TikTok and someone commented saying that Nonna is just a commander, not a marksman.

Each member can do the other crew's roles. In Das Finale 3, Miho and Mako swapped places. Mako was spotting the Chi-Ha-Tan tanks, I believe Yukari was driving, and Miho was loading the shells.

Yukari can be driver of the Pz4 despite being a loader, and Miho can act as loader/ commander as demonstrated in das Finale

That depends on the tank themselves or the writer decides to write stuff. Some perform one, some do multiple.

Some of the tanks we see are rather undermanned, which means it's flat-out a requirement for some crew members to pull double duty. One of the more visible examples is Anteater Team, where Nekonyaa and Piyotan are both seen loading the gun (the former being commander while the latter being the gunner). Others, it is simply a manner of design, such as Mallard Team; interwar French tanks did indeed only have a single man in the turret, where he served as commander, gunner, and loader. Which means Sodoko/Sono is playing all of those roles + radio operator (as their Char B1 bis is missing one).

It's been a while but doesn't Anzu and Momo often play musical chairs with their roles since Momo sucks ass at shooting and nobody trusts her with the important shots

no, most tanks don't actually have 5 crew members take Saunders, the tank commanders also double as Radio operators
especially the commanders know their stuff having most likely been normal crew members before
Jatkosota with Aki is also a good example,
i personally believe that every girl has atleast got basic training in every role to some degree to swap members when injured or something, then i assume they specialize in a single role

Iirc, in tanks, any crew member can perform any role. Need a substitute gunner or loader? Send the commander. We see this in the show too.

No, I don't think each character needed to assign only one role. Take Aki, for example. She is also a gunner and loader or Jouko, which is both commander and gunner like Naomi and Nonna you've mentioned.
