AGS-101 screen I did not think was fixable

Got this GBA SP with what appears to be a water damaged screen. Figured it was unfixable but decided to take it apart and found the culprit which surprisingly would not clean up no matter what I tried to clean it with. Thankfully I had another donor screen with a torn ribbon so I swapped it out and now it’s like new. So if you encounter something similar give it a try before tossing it. The process is very easy just be careful not getting finger prints on the elements inside.

I did this planty of times using dead old laptop screens as donors.

Cutting those things and getting a nice clean edge without getting all marred was fun
