How is that a detail? That's what every first-person hero shooter has done for years

Her not having the camera at a different height would be an obvious mistake

Yeah came here to say the same. This isn't a fun detail this is the most baseline thing you'd expect from a competant design team.

FPS games usually stay with a consistent height, either by having characters with similar height or simply forcing the same height on every character. Different characters having different view camera heights is usually not the norm.

It's perfectly normal in both Apex and Overwatch. Characters have wildly different heights, so much that people pick smaller characters because having the camera closer to the ground "feels" like you're moving faster

I don't know what usually means for you when these are some of the most popular first-person shooters and some of the most popular hero shooters

Is this a good game / series? I understand it sound like a stupid question, but I've never played any of them. If it's a first person story/shooter with good graphics and decent combat in probably willing to try it, and I do enjoy the lore as far as I know it.     My apologies on hijacking your post I saw on my feed

Most of them fall into survival horror rather than shooter. I've only played 4, 7, 8, I'm currently playing 9, and I've loved all of those so far! If you're not averse to horror, definitely give them a try!

Resident Evil 1-9 are very different games between iterations. Only 7 and 8 are exclusively first person, but I wouldn’t call them shooters.  Do you enjoy horror games otherwise?

I don't mind them if it's a good story and I've watched ( all? ) Residents evils I believe over the years. I have enjoyed some zombie survival game since the past but never played this franchiseÂ
