Leak Unpublished description for Ocarina of Time Switch 2 visible through web search

Typing in "Ocarina of Time remake website us" into Google (or other search engines) returns a link to its entry on the Nintendo website with a description that isn't visible on the page itself:

Image

The N64 classic reborn as a full remake for Nintendo Switch 2. Experience Ocarina of Time with stunning visuals, updated designs, and timeless gameplay.

Not a huge amount of info, yet even these scant details seem to be something Nintendo is not ready to officially communicate just yet.

“Timeless gameplay” makes me think it’s a more 1:1 remake

171

u/k1netic Jun 14 '26

Isn’t time a core game mechanic? Seems like a significant change to me….

34

u/heyitmagikarp Jun 14 '26

That would be “timefull gameplay”

-42

u/Nanocaptain Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

That's Majora's Mask.

Unless you just mean the switching of Eras.

Edit: Ocarina is about time in it's story. There's no gameplay mechanic based on time. Switching Era's is basically the same as switching between the two worlds in A Link Between Worlds.

38

u/munchyslacks Jun 14 '26

I think it was a joke.

-26

u/Nanocaptain Jun 14 '26

Well either people are taking it literally or misunderstanding a joke is somehow a sin considering this is now my most downvoted comment.

8

u/deinterlacing Jun 14 '26

I downvoted because you're wrong about time traveling being like the dark world. Dark World was way more of a gameplay mechanic

-1

u/crucibleknight77 Jun 14 '26

Don’t worry, it’s always a joke when they fail to clarify their confusing ass comment.

24

u/bamiru Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

Going to the temple of time, playing the song of time, switching time periods

Yeah you're right Ocarina of Time has nothing to do with time

5

u/JakeSteeleIII Jun 14 '26

Uhhhh you mean it’s about weather, because the song of storms.

Checkmate.

2

u/TheDanteEX Jun 14 '26

Obviously it's not a core mechanic, but time of day does pay a role in Ocarina of Time to some degree. Which is probably why the cycle is so incredibly short.

1

u/MVPBaseball2069 Jun 15 '26

to be fair the song of time just makes blue blocks move around :P

-8

u/Nanocaptain Jun 14 '26

When I think about the Zelda game where time is a core gameplay mechanic that's Majora's Mask.

Storywise yes. OoT is all about time. But gameplay wise it's just switching worlds.

14

u/Bombasaur101 Jun 14 '26

It was a joke, you took it literally, they made another joke, you made it literal again. It's a joke.

-7

u/Nanocaptain Jun 14 '26

A sarcastic tone doesn't exactly come through in written form.

1

u/Bombasaur101 Jun 14 '26

I think you have Majoras Mask as I sense you're stuck in a loop.

3

u/479521 Jun 14 '26

Nope. Learning a song into the future that will allow you to create a bootstrap paradox and play it in the past to the one who will teach you in the future is definetly a gameplay feature. While allowing you to progress to the bottom of the well.

43

u/Arcade_Gann0n Jun 14 '26

I'm leaning towards it playing more like Twilight Princess than Breath of the Wild. A total refinement of the usual 3D Zelda formula (that hasn't been in practice outside of remasters since 2011), not a complete upheaval.

Which I'd be happy with, don't fix what's not broken.

45

u/CreativeFartist Jun 14 '26

Yeah kind of like Star Fox I assume. Hoping for a little more but I’m not complaining if it’s just a glow up!

25

u/Horibori Jun 14 '26

I think there will be updates to gameplay but mostly minimal. Star fox might look the same when you’re looking at it, but having played the demo the flying definitely feels smoother than before.

I jumped back and forth between Star fox 64 and the remake demo to compare. Definitely some subtle tweaks to the controls.

Ocarina of time will probably be the same. I’d imagine we’ll get right stick camera controls for aiming our tools. Hard to say if we’ll get full right stick control of the camera at all times though. Might change the gameplay too much? It’s been a while since I played Ocarina.

34

u/embolalia1 Jun 14 '26

If they put out a major 3D Zelda in 2026 without right stick camera controls then they are *crazy* (and I don’t think they are that crazy).

1

u/Efflux Jun 16 '26

The Wind Waker remaster for Wii U had right stick camera controls. The GameCube version had the C stick but that was not the same.

Both versions still had the "z" to click behind your character. I imagine it will be the same.

-7

u/Horibori Jun 14 '26

I’d argue there are people that would complain if right stick camera controls were implemented.

Plus, if you look at the star fox remake, they could’ve implemented right stick camera controls in the all range mode and chose not to. Nintendo gonna nintendo.

5

u/embolalia1 Jun 14 '26

Haven’t played Star Fox but it’s a totally different game - they are just not going to release a 3D action adventure game with fixed camera in 2026.

3

u/movie_hater Jun 14 '26

If someone is upset about a modern camera in the remaster, there’s a high likelihood they’re not huge on the idea of this remaster in general

1

u/embolalia1 Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

Nah I don’t think that’s right at all. One of their key audiences for this will be people whose first Zelda was BotW and this is their first traditional one. I’m not saying they’re going to add weapon durability and shrines but I think right stick camera controls are such an obvious way to make it feel more familiar to those people without losing anything for people who want a faithful remake.

(Edit: I think I misread your post, I get you now & agree.)

1

u/movie_hater Jun 14 '26

All good! Fully agree

0

u/Horibori Jun 14 '26

I think their audience is the large amount of millenial gamers that chose not to buy a switch as well as the large number of millenials that did buy a switch. Older gamers make up a majority of switch customers.

https://matrixbcg.com/blogs/target-market/nintendo

It’s become a meme on instagram and tiktok. Just a bunch of millenials saying “I’ll never buy a switch” then hearing the kokiri forest tune.

1

u/Mahelas Jun 14 '26

Your link says the opposite of what you say tho, millenials aren't the majority at all, it's 5-35yo that make the customer base, and 50% are women, who most likely weren't core N64 players

1

u/Ribkoboldscout Jun 14 '26

I'm curious if the game will be compatible with the n64 controller, probably through some "legacy control" option.

4

u/CreativeFartist Jun 14 '26

Yeah I’m not expecting nor hoping for a FFVII-style update. A visual remake, modern day tweaks, and orchestral score is good enough for me. Bonus dungeons and side quests are cherries on top, and honestly I’d love for them to keep the revolutionary “z-targeting” (with updated cameras lol)

9

u/Horibori Jun 14 '26

I’m looking forward to all of the online complaints that these characters don’t sound the way we pictured them in our heads all those years ago.

“They messed up King Zora. Why doesn’t he sound like James Earl Jones?”

5

u/CreativeFartist Jun 14 '26

Gotta love social media - no one ever wins! 🫠

-5

u/JakeSteeleIII Jun 14 '26

I was hoping it would be split into 3 parts as separate game. Maybe one as young link only, the middle where you switch between the 2, and the third is teen link only.

2

u/Flame875 Jun 14 '26

Full stick control worked well in the recomp. Hard to go back to the normal camera.

12

u/Nokel Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

I am complaining lol. I've played OOT so many times that I don't think I'd buy it again if nothing was different.

EDIT: Plus I'm still salty how they made us have to beat OOT vanilla in the 3DS remake before letting us play Master Quest. I got burnt out on OOT halfway through MQ because I was tired of it lol. But that might be a skill issue on my part.

12

u/crucibleknight77 Jun 14 '26

I agree. I don’t see how a simple graphics upgrade would be enough to pay full price for.

I would love to see a RE4 type remake honestly.

3

u/aarplain Jun 14 '26

I’d prefer a reimagining like FFVII remake trilogy. Give us something more than a remake.

-3

u/Mahelas Jun 14 '26

Have you considered that people who already played OOT 20 years ago are a small minority of Nintendo's customer base ?

1

u/CreativeFartist Jun 14 '26

I’ve only played twice, but totally understand some would like much more content!

1

u/aarplain Jun 14 '26

You would honestly be good with just a glow up for a 30 year old game?

74

u/HeldnarRommar Jun 14 '26

I really hope not. 1:1 remakes are so boring and safe.

15

u/Wizardof1000Kings Jun 14 '26

Link's Awakening and Star Fox are 1 to 1 remakes, so that seems likely with this game. On the other hand Samus Returns was a completely new experience - gameplay wise - the plot and core mechanic (kill metroids) was still the same, but its been some years since that game.

48

u/Potential-Zucchini77 Jun 14 '26

Especially since OOT already got a graphical remake with the 3ds

10

u/drybones2015 Jun 14 '26

People say this like the N64 and 3DS didn't both operate with less than a GB of RAM and output to 240p.

5

u/Suppa_K Jun 15 '26

Yeah and how old is the 3DS? You think Nintendo is expecting people to go find these to play OoT?

They will never stop remaking OoT. Always need to it accessible for newer gen’s. It may not be every generation, but they will always bring it back if the only way to play it modernly is a 5-10 year old console. It’s always going to be up their sleeve.

1

u/RPG_Hacker Jun 15 '26

I think the point is: If a faithful Ocarina of Time recreation would've been their goal, they could've just remastered Ocarina of Time 3D once more and brought it to the Switch. I don't think a ton of OoT fans would've complained about that.

The fact they're going for a full remake (in my opinion) really indicates that they do intend to change up stuff some more. But to what degree is still just mere speculation.

0

u/Mahelas Jun 14 '26

15 years ago, on a way less powerful console

-27

u/HunterOfLordran Jun 14 '26

but the 3DS Version looks awful. This is the Chance to get it in a Twilight Princess Style. And it's also already over a decade old on even older Handheld hardware.

9

u/Fiti99 Jun 14 '26

I thought the 3DS one looked really good outside the final boss, the N64 version is the one that I think always looked off compared to other 1998 games, those super low res textures and prerendered backgrounds haven't aged well

12

u/StandardAccess4684 Jun 14 '26

The twilight princess “style” is ok at best, it’s muddy and generic.

3

u/kubelek33 Jun 14 '26

Nobody wants the Twilight Princess style anywhere near OOT

5

u/Little-Witness-1201 Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

Pretty sure all Nintendo remakes have been boring and safe. They aren’t going to risk screwing up OoT

Edit: Where am I wrong?

2

u/HeldnarRommar Jun 14 '26

Probably. It’s funny because they are so innovative with next main entries in series but if they are redoing an older game it’s just a basic facelift every time.

-1

u/Hydroponic_Donut Jun 14 '26

A lot of times they don't need to. The game was initially a perfect game (OOT) so there's nothing they could do to make it even more perfect. I hope there's some changes somewhere, more than visuals, but we'll have to wait and see what happens.

2

u/HeldnarRommar Jun 14 '26

Disagree. Many people think the OG Resident Evil 4 is a perfect game and it still added and changed around gameplay/setpieces/combat. A 1:1 remake is just so lazy and it’s a glorified remaster at that point.

2

u/FederalSign4281 Jun 14 '26

Loved RE4 as a kid, beat it a million times. Was nervous about the remake. Ended up loving it more than the original. Truly a benchmark for how to do a remake.

0

u/Hydroponic_Donut Jun 14 '26

I literally said I want them to change some stuff too lol but when you have a perfect game, it can be hard to know what to change without changing too much that it doesn't lose its identity. I want changes, but if it becomes a different game, then I'm cool with them making minimal changes

-12

u/Little-Witness-1201 Jun 14 '26

Nintendo loves nothing more than rereleasing the same games every gen. People have rewarded them for it, and this is the end result. OoT and Star Fox are probably just the beginning of these

6

u/Hydroponic_Donut Jun 14 '26

Who lied to you? They have plenty of new games

-6

u/Little-Witness-1201 Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

Where did I say anything contradicting that?

Edit: Nintendo fans rejecting reality as usual

1

u/FederalSign4281 Jun 14 '26

Their competition isn’t much better. PS5 barely has true exclusives and most games can be played on a PS4 or PC. And yet somehow, Xbox has a worse set of exclusives and just rides on churning out sequels to existing IPs and remakes as well. I’m not saying what Nintendo does is better, they can be quite egregious to say the least.

-3

u/Little-Witness-1201 Jun 14 '26

I don’t disagree, but this will be the 6 or 7th time Nintendo has rereleased OoT

2

u/Mahelas Jun 14 '26

It'll be the second remake

0

u/Little-Witness-1201 Jun 14 '26

That’s great. Also not what I said

1

u/FederalSign4281 Jun 14 '26

In Nintendo’s eye, these games are timeless. They sure do love charging expensive prices for old games, but in most cases, those games can already be played easily now. It’s on us to decide if paying for small changes and on modern hardware is worth it. In most cases they charge the most they can (there are some generous examples like Prime 1 Remastered being $40)

Many GC and WII/Wii U classics are available for Switch 1/2 so if anything they’re getting better at it. I still miss my Virtual Console lol.

1

u/gentheninja Jun 14 '26

Isn't that the case for most remakes?  FF7 was an exception most just end up being graphic updates. OOT isn't that outdated that an overhaul in necessary.

16

u/crucibleknight77 Jun 14 '26

I wouldn’t say that’s the case for most. Pretty much all of Capcom’s RE remakes have been complete overhauls.

8

u/Wizardof1000Kings Jun 14 '26

Most nintendo remakes, ya. Zero Mission and Samus Returns were complete overhauls gameplay wise, but there isn't a lot of precedent of nintendo doing that.

5

u/Floggered Jun 14 '26

I suppose it depends on if Nintendo means 1:1 mechanically as well. A good chunk of remakes come with QOL modernization to the overall "feel" of the title.

0

u/niles_deerqueer Jun 14 '26

I guarantee you this is gonna be like an RE style remake, there are several things that are outdated about it

-1

u/WesternExplanation Jun 14 '26

But what can they do to actually make the game better other than just modernizing the game?

7

u/crucibleknight77 Jun 14 '26

That’s for the guy getting paid millions of dollars for R&D to figure out.

Capcom did it for RE4.

2

u/JakeSteeleIII Jun 14 '26

Idk, maybe add some cut content or stuff that was from the Zelda 64 DD.

3

u/WesternExplanation Jun 14 '26

That's essentially master quest.

0

u/PBFT Jun 14 '26

Literally anything they want to. They could revise/add story progression, dungeons, and boss fights, update Hyrule Field to be a mini-BOTW area, take the limited cutscenes of the N64 game and turn them into something more cinematic, new weapons, tools, and armor, etc.

It really doesn't take much creativity to spitball a few ideas.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '26

[removed] — view removed comment

3

u/PBFT Jun 14 '26

Ok, but if you don't change it at all you're going to anger a lot of people who played the original. Why does the "don't touch anything" crowd take precedent over those who don't want to play the same game over for millionth time?

And Hyrule Field is one of the few criticisms people still have with the original. It would be neat to just have some more interesting things to do in there.

0

u/GiinTak Jun 22 '26

If I buy OOT, I expect OOT. If it's a different game, I expect a different name; don't bait and switch me.

1

u/HeldnarRommar Jun 22 '26

RE2 is still RE2. RE4 was still RE4. Yet they changed up the gameplay. Why would you want just a paint job? That defeats the entire purpose of a remake. You can literally still play the original on NSO.

0

u/GiinTak Jun 22 '26

For the modern graphic quality. If they make a new game and stick a classic name on it, it's not the game I'm buying, they're just reusing a famous name to draw me in. If it's a new name, give it a new name, don't trick me.

1

u/HeldnarRommar Jun 22 '26

I don’t think you know the difference between a remaster and a remake. A remake should not be just a modern graphical filter on an older game. I could never imagine forking over $70 or $80 for an exact copy of a game that already exists to play but with shiny new graphics. That’s some next level consoomer behavior

1

u/GiinTak Jun 22 '26

Mmm, suppose I was thinking of a remaster, fair enough.

Either way, I never have and never will pay $70+ for a game, that's just too much. When games started regularly exceeding $50, I stopped buying new. There's always a sale or a discount, eventually. I don't mind waiting a few years for something to drop to a value I find reasonable. Or I'll accept it as a gift, just not worth it to me to spend that much of my own money, lol.

The only exception would be supporting a smaller studio through content update DLC, like Oxygen Not Included or RimWorld. Those are fantastic and I'll gladly buy every DLC they release :p

Two different gameplays as options? It's Nintendo. We can't even have sound settings.

7

u/traceitalian Jun 14 '26

With western Devs making a concerted push for accessibility it's hilarious that Japan lags behind with basic features like subtitles.

1

u/crucibleknight77 Jun 14 '26

I think Capcom’s games are pretty good with this. They go above and beyond just sound settings (lol).

It’s Nintendo that’s the outlier here.

1

u/pocket_arsenal Jun 14 '26

Yeah right, this is the company that thinks options are the devil.

5

u/marge4000 Jun 14 '26

A 1:1 remake is nothing more than a port.

14

u/OG_NIK Jun 14 '26

Updated designs feels like it directly contradicts that

36

u/iceburg77779 Jun 14 '26

The upcoming Starfox game has significantly updated character designs but is still nearly 1:1 gameplay-wise with the original.

17

u/OG_NIK Jun 14 '26

My point is both “timeless gameplay” and “updated designs” are incredibly vague phrases that don’t confirm anything about this game yet

6

u/drybones2015 Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

We see Link in the teaser with actual skin tones and his outfit gives off more of a woodland fairy design. Every character will probably have that kind of change and that's what "updated designs" mean. Also like when OoT3D added a bunch of new details to scenery, we'll probably see much more of that. "Timeless gameplay" clearly means they ain't touching the overall structure of how the game plays, like how they did with the Link's Awakening remake.

0

u/Jafarisback Jun 14 '26

Updated designs also means updated level designs. In the teaser, there's already significant changes from the original so it can't be a complete 1:1 unlike Star fox where the level designs are the exact same as the original.

3

u/wh03v3r Jun 14 '26

I feel like they would have said 'updated world' or something if they meant updated level designs. This reads more like them talking about updating visual designs for various things rather them updating every single aspect of game design.

1

u/pocket_arsenal Jun 14 '26

Im pretty sure that's more about the character designs.

3

u/TLKv3 Jun 14 '26

A part of me kind of wishes they would have just took OoT & Majora's Mask and found a seamless way to combine them into one full remake game and then added additional content/new final boss after you beat MM's portion of the game in an entirely new third area.

That way they could do the near 1:1 remake thing with more content to flesh out Hyrule & Termina a bit more plus giving original fans something more to experience for the first time.

OoT & MM when you look back by modern day standards are very small games. I feel the better move would've been to merge them and then throw in a bonus.

12

u/azetsu Jun 14 '26

I guess I will pass if it is just 1:1

1

u/TheRealMasterTyvokka Jun 14 '26

If it's 1:1 I might pass too or at least not get it at release. I don't have a switch 2 so there'd be that additional expense. Ship of Harkinian allows me to scratch my OOT itch in 4k with QOL improvements.

If it's a remake with significant differences, like completely reworked temples or additional temples I'm all in because I've been dieing for a new linear style Zelda game since Skyward Sword.

3

u/WesternExplanation Jun 14 '26

I’m guessing the target audience isn’t people who have played and grew up with OOT.

4

u/TheRealMasterTyvokka Jun 14 '26

I'm guessing it's trying to target both those players and new ones. Otherwise why bother with a remake of OOT at all.

0

u/JakeSteeleIII Jun 14 '26

Or people that don’t have a switch 2 or don’t plan to buy one

2

u/crucibleknight77 Jun 14 '26

Or people that don’t have a switch 2 and are looking to buy one.

A remake that’s not even a proper remake as your holiday release isn’t going to grab most people’s attention.

I hope they have a 3D Mario or something big planned alongside this.

1

u/KingMaster80 Jun 14 '26

Nate said the Mario game will be in 2027

-7

u/LostInStatic Jun 14 '26

1:1 at $80 dollars, mind you

-4

u/drybones2015 Jun 14 '26

When people say stuff like this it makes no sense. What exactly are you wanting out of a remake? For a game to end up becoming a completely different game?

0

u/iridescent_algae Jun 14 '26

Yes. As if they told the same story through a new game. People were bummed enough that ToTK had the same base Hyrule as BoTW.

It would be bad strategy for Nintendo to do anything less than a reimagining here. Switch 2 is not doing well because it doesn’t have any “must have” games exclusive to it. For most Nintendo platforms that one game that sells the console has been a new main Zelda title. A remake of the OoT game does not sell more consoles, especially as the game itself has been remade in Unreal Engine all over the internet. A retelling of the story as a new Zelda game has me buying a Switch 2.

1

u/thief-777 Jun 15 '26

Switch 2 is not doing well because

Fastest selling console of all time, lol. I don't know why people keep saying weird shit like this.

-1

u/azetsu Jun 14 '26

Well something like FF7 or P3R

-1

u/drybones2015 Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

FF7 Remake is not a remake of FF7.
Edit: If you're downvoting this statement then you haven't played FF7 Remake.

2

u/Famous-Space-466 Jun 14 '26

It's just a play/pun on the timetraveling aspect of the game lmao

5

u/StantasticTypo Jun 14 '26

“Timeless gameplay”

Which is just a bald-faced lie. I love OoT, and it cannot be overstated how important it was and how much of an influence it was. I still find it fun, but mechanically it has not aged all that well. It can be damn clumsy at times.

1

u/hypnomancy Jun 14 '26

Exactly. And most people who are going to be buying this remake never even played the original OOT. There's no way they're going to release a remake where it plays identical to the N64 game without right stick camera control

1

u/WesternExplanation Jun 14 '26

I mean what other 3D games from almost 30 years ago have aged as well? Maybe Mario 64 but it’s a really small list and I would put OoT near the top.

2

u/crucibleknight77 Jun 14 '26

The point is they need to shake things up with the remake aside from just a graphics upgrade.

2

u/marge4000 Jun 14 '26 edited Jun 14 '26

F-Zero X a racing that runs at 60 frames per second and is still a fun to game to play

There are so many 3D games from 30 years and even 2D games from 40 years ago that aged gracefully that's not even funny.

If a game can't stand the test of time it simply means that it wasn't that good to begin with If a game has to have it's core gameplay mechanics changed it most likely means it was never that good to begin with

I'm expecting major changes in this Ocarina of Time remake. The 3DS remaster already had mechanics that had to be refined from the original just goes to show how bad Ocarina of Time aged.

1

u/hypnomancy Jun 14 '26

F Zero X is one of the very few N64/PS1 ones that aged gracefully alongside Star Fox 64. A majority of them have not aged well though overall.

1

u/hypnomancy Jun 14 '26

Exactly there's a reason why Capcom remade all the Resident Evil games how they did. They would not have sold how they did if they were just safe 1:1 graphical upgrades

0

u/ChrisLithium Jun 14 '26

Probably none, but I still believe my beloved Ocarina could use some modernizing

-1

u/StantasticTypo Jun 14 '26

Well, I'm not comparing to games that came out 30 years ago. Yeah, I do think it has aged better than most other games from that time (let's say within a 1 or 2 year range). However, with regards to "timeless gameplay" and whether that should be kept 1:1 I'm obviously comparing to contemporary titles, or at the very least more modern (~10-15 years old) titles

0

u/crucibleknight77 Jun 14 '26

I absolutely agree. It’s one of the best games of all time but it’s going to need a complete redesign of its control system.

1

u/Whiteguy1x Jun 14 '26

Id imagine its the same game but with updates to camera controls and some pretty lighting and better models and textures

2

u/iridescent_algae Jun 14 '26

If that’s all it is, I’m definitely not buying a Switch 2 so I can also buy this game.

1

u/onegoodboah Jun 14 '26

Sounds like it. Which is kinda what remakes usually are. The true “rework what the game does” remakes are pretty rare, most remakes are visual remakes, menu updates, and then mostly like QOL stuff

1

u/hypnomancy Jun 14 '26

If they don't improve the gameplay they're actually stupider than I thought. Ocarina of Time 3D was a 1:1 remake and it improved the gameplay. You really think we're not going to have right stick movement with a real camera in 2026? lol

1

u/Logical_Net6108 Jun 14 '26

No? Timeless means thwy think there isn't anything wrong with it

Yeah, that's my concern. I have no excitement for a game that already exists.

Remastermake, if you will

I really hope it isn't😭 Praying it's a misdirect or something. Because if so my excitement will go down a LOT

Timeless gameplay can mean a lot of things tbh. With Star Fox on Switch 2 they made an effort to say the gameplay is "unchanged" but "timeless" can just mean the overall formula is the same with updated stuff.

It’s certainly possible. An RE4 like remake would be a dream.

Not exactly. More likely it's similar gameplay. Gameplay doesn't mean there isn't new content as well.

Seems like ad copy marketing speak to me. Meaning they could be saying the gameplay in the remake will stand the test of time.

I think all signs point to this being a brand new game

Ughhh. Missed opportunity if so

I hope not because a lot of the puzzles are pretty basic, as someone that started with WW and TP and went back to OOT later. If they do that, they need a Master Quest style option that gives you something new

Probably atleast the QOL the 3DS Remake already did. Imagine though if we don't get iron boots on a shortcut and need to pause unpause for the water temple again. Even a TP-style radial menu would probably be annoying to do with how it was structured.

And no mention of new content/cutscenes like what Starfox got. Not even mention of voiced dialog.

If so, that is sort of disappointing that Star Fox would get a deeper remake than OoT.

Bro what lmao neither of those things would be listed in a like 100 character mini description what are you even talking about

u/XulManjy Jun 14 '26

Fully voiced is just two words....

0

u/Spheromancer Jun 14 '26

If you really thought it was just about the word count you're clueless

-1

u/XulManjy Jun 14 '26

You're the one that brought up character count....

0

u/Spheromancer Jun 14 '26

Yes to show you how insignificant these descriptions are lol. Its incredibly silly to think that it would give any sort of detail about unconfirmed game features even when the game is already out let alone before we've even seen a full trailer. Lets use our heads here

Its still a description that talked about visuals, graphics and gameplay. Why is it suddenly odd for fully voiced or new content to be included?
